I lived an extraordinary life, and I chose to create this video as a way of sharing the news about my passing. I was inspired by someone who did something similar about a year ago, and I believe it provides a unique chance for everyone to express their thoughts.

He went on to say, “I found life wonderful. I truly relished my time here. I have faith that there’s more beyond this, and I can’t wait to encounter those individuals. It would be great if we’re already together, laughing at all the self-proclaimed intellectuals.

Martin Was Diagnosed With Colon Cancer at 25

Martin openly discussed his battle with cancer, keeping his supporters informed throughout the years. In March 2024, Shay Wright, Martin’s wife, disclosed that they were given a limited time left together.

She expressed her emotion in a shared Instagram post, saying she felt a deep sadness as she wrote it. They learned on Wednesday that Tanner has only a few months left to live. The doctors can’t give an exact number because it’s not feasible, but they know it won’t be long. Although they had anticipated the news, hearing it confirmed was still difficult.

She went on saying, “He’s undergoing chemotherapy, mainly for extra time. However, his body is declining significantly, particularly his liver. The upcoming months are going to be extremely challenging yet precious. Each instant spent with Tanner is a precious gift.

Martin Was Based in Utah

She went on to say, “I’m primarily the author, yet Tanner occasionally contributes when he feels like it. He serves as a calming influence amidst my turbulence, always managing to make me laugh even on difficult days, and is the embodiment of enduring love for me.

Martin Was Married

In July 2018, Martin proposed to Wright. Here’s how she put it on Instagram: “Five years ago I met the happiest missionary. Six months ago he became my best friend. Tonight, he became my Fiance. I love you Tanner Martin.” She accompanied this post with a photo of them embracing and a close-up of her ring. They got married in October 2018.

Martin Welcomed a Daughter 1 Month Before Death

In November 2024, it was announced by Martin and Wright that they were anticipating their first baby. Their little girl, named Amy Lou, arrived the following year.

In her Instagram post from May 2025, she wrote, ‘Daddy made it💗🫶🏼,’ as the announcement of our new arrival, a little one we fondly call our ‘dumpling’ in Chinese.
