Season 4 of The Traitors is promising to be incredibly captivating, guaranteeing viewers will be hooked when it airs this winter.
The latest season of the show started strong in 2026, bringing a fresh group of contestants to the Traitors castle for a game of secrets and backstabbing – and this season promised even bigger surprises.
Okay, so Claudia Winkleman did her usual thing and picked three players – Rachel, Hugo, and Stephen – to be Traitors. But here’s the twist: she also secretly designated another player as a super-Traitor, someone with even more influence and power than the others. It definitely throws a wrench into the whole game, and I’m already on the edge of my seat to see how this plays out!
Each night, one player will secretly suggest a list of potential victims for the three Traitors to eliminate. This player won’t know they’re being used to target others, but the Traitors will know exactly who is providing the names…
To stay hidden, the secret Traitor needs to blend in – avoiding attention from both loyal members and other Traitors who want to regain control.
Audiences at home also have no idea who the hidden figure is either, so let’s get theorising…
Who is the Secret Traitor? All the theories so far
Judy

One of the three Traitors suspects Judy might be the secret Traitor, though there isn’t much proof to support this idea.
Once the Traitors were revealed at the beginning of the game, the other players noticed a change in Judy’s behavior.
During that part of the game, if Claudia selected Judy, Judy would think she’d been chosen as a Traitor, but wouldn’t know her role was still hidden.
After the Traitors saw who was potentially one of them at the end of the first episode, they began to focus their suspicions on Judy.
Stephen shared his suspicion with the group: “I think Judy might be involved; I just have a gut feeling about it.”
The plot thickens…
Jade

Jade seemed a bit quiet after the Traitors were revealed, which made the Faithful players suspicious of her.
One contestant observed that Jade appeared extremely frightened, staring straight down. They speculated it might be nerves, admitting that was their best guess.
