ITV has confirmed that someone is guaranteed to win the £1 million jackpot on the next season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
The latest season of the popular quiz show, starting later this month, will have a new twist: for the first time, two contestants will compete for the top prize, reaching the final question together.
Winning the top prize is incredibly uncommon. In the UK version of the show, only six contestants have ever won the £1 million, and only one of those wins happened while Jeremy Clarkson was the host.
The number is currently around seven, and it looks like it might even reach eight, but you’ll have to keep watching to find out!
I can’t believe what I’m hearing about the next episodes! Apparently, one contestant is set to lose a staggering £186,000 in a single round – it’s being called one of the biggest losses the show has ever seen. I’m absolutely glued to the screen to find out who it is!
Details of the contestants are so far being kept under wraps.

Earlier this year, Jeremy Clarkson hosted a fast-paced version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? called Millionaire Hot Seat. Contestants competed against the clock, and the last player remaining in the hot seat at the end of the game won.
This month, ITV is launching a new gameshow called The Neighbourhood, and Graham Norton will be hosting it.
This show features six families battling it out in a neighborhood-wide competition, with the winning household receiving a grand prize of £250,000.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire will return to ITV later this month.
