Tonight’s finale (November 13th) wrapped up Taskmaster season 20 after ten weeks of funny challenges and memorable moments. Greg Davies and Alex Horne announced who had won, bringing the season to a dramatic close with five of comedy’s best performers.
The final round seemed to be a close competition between Ania Magliano and Phil Ellis, with Ania slightly ahead. Maisie Adam, Reece Shearsmith, and Sanjeev Bhaskar were trailing behind.
The finish wasn’t so simple, though. After a frantic race to the end, three contestants tied – a first in Taskmaster’s history!
Anya, Phil, and Maisie were all tied, so they had to answer one final question to decide who would win Greg’s head as a trophy.
After a tight competition, Maisie Adam was crowned the winner of Taskmaster series 20.
Although the latest season of Taskmaster has finished, there’s still lots of fun and silliness ahead!
Great news for Taskmaster fans! The New Year Treat is coming back with two special episodes this year, giving viewers twice the fun.
The show will once again feature five well-known celebrities from various areas of entertainment, and this year’s participants are Big Zuu, Jill Scott, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Sam Ryder, and Susie Dent.
The popular show Champion of Champions is back! Fan favorites Sam Campbell, John Robins, Andy Zaltzman, and Mathew Baynton will return, alongside the current champion, Maisie. It’s a chance for them to relive their greatest moments.
Taskmaster returns to Channel 4 on Thursday 11th September at 9pm.
