If you follow pop culture at all, you’ve probably already watched the first part of Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season on Netflix. These new episodes were a huge hit, breaking viewership records and continuing the show’s influence on things like Eggo waffles, Dungeons & Dragons, and even… well, maybe not bowl haircuts. While we wait for the last episodes, I’m seriously considering buying the impressive Stranger Things: The Creel House LEGO set that was recently announced.
Like many others, I was instantly captivated, but it wasn’t until I really delved back into the story of the characters in Hawkins that I felt motivated to spend more on LEGO than I usually do. (The festive holiday season certainly helped!) This set also includes a special WSQK Radio Station build with a hidden detail that actually foreshadowed a major reveal about the Upside Down. Let’s examine it in more detail below.

This house looks like the last place anyone would want to visit, maybe only if they were dared to. Luckily, the boarded-up windows are just for show, meaning this house actually could be a good place to raise a spooky or mischievous child.
The house itself is where things get really interesting, filled with all the rooms you’d expect from a haunted home, and even more. It’s a shame we don’t see the rest of the Creel family besides Henry, although Holly dressing like Alice does offer a small connection to his sister. And there are spiders everywhere!

This is a large building set featuring a detailed house, plus several smaller builds and characters. It includes 13 minifigures, like Mr. Whatsit and Vecna, as well as Steve’s car and the WSQK radio van. It feels like everything you need for Steve and Robin to have some fun street racing!
Here’s a rundown of all the specs and details one would need to know ahead of buying the set.
LEGO’s Stranger Things: The Creel House Specs
- PRICE: $299.99
- 2,593 pieces
- SIZE: 12 in. (H) x 20 in. (W) x 7 in. (D)
- 7 furnished mansion rooms (including entryway, dining room, sitting room, upstairs hallway, attic spaces, and bedrooms for young Alice and Henry Creel)
- Corners of the house can be pulled apart to reveal Vecna’ in his interdimensional Mind Lair, complete with grandfather clock
- Choose between exterior with boarded-up windows and one with visible windows
- 13 minifigure characters (Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Vecna, Mr. Whatsit, Holly, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Jonathan, Max, and Eleven)
- Also comes with Wil’s bicycle, Steve’s beloved car, and the WSQK radio van and satellite dish.
I completely forgot to mention Will’s bike was in there too – it likely would have been destroyed in the street race. The coolest part of this set, though, is that it expands to reveal Vecna’s Mind Lair. Mr. Clarke’s area actually spins around, unveiling Vecna himself. It would have been great if Karen Wheeler could have been there to stop him, like she did before.
If playing as that character feels unpleasant or goes on for too long, it’s a good idea to switch gears and follow Joyce and Hopper’s storyline at the radio station.
Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station Gift Has A Spoilery Easter Egg

LEGO is offering a free WSQK radio station set with every purchase of the Creel House, while supplies last. This 234-piece set lets you build both the main living space and Rockin’ Robin’s private room. Fans who were curious about why Joyce and Hopper weren’t in the previous set will be happy to know they’re included here. While the characters don’t have a strong connection to the location beyond simply being present, it’s a nice addition!
This LEGO set strongly hints at key plot points from the show, particularly the connections between the Upside Down and the Abyss, with window designs resembling wormholes. In episode 507, “The Bridge,” the characters famously used these windows to map out the idea that Hawkins is a gateway between our world and the desolate Abyss.
The wormhole toy alone didn’t reveal any major plot points, but it definitely supported popular fan theories that were already on the right track. Fans who believed those theories now have confirmation, as evidenced by this toy.
Gifts With Purchase Or Pre-Order (Expires Dec. 31)
While the radio is the only gift directly tied to buying the Creel Set, LEGO is also including a few other perks for customers. Here’s a look at the four extras you’ll receive.
- TIE Fighter™ with Imperial Hangar Rack (236 pieces)
- Hogwarts™ Castle: Room of Requirement (202 pieces)
- Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks (230 pieces)
- Lucky Knots (317 pieces)
After everything they’ve been through, the teenagers of Hawkins probably just want a normal Ferris wheel ride without it turning into a portal to another dimension. And maybe keep Jonathan and Nancy separate – things didn’t end so well for them after that awkward breakup in the melting room! LEGO, seriously, we need a melting room set – please make it happen!
