Alex Rodriguez is coming clean, again.
Retired baseball star Alex Rodriguez tackles the steroid controversy that damaged his Hall of Fame prospects in his new docuseries, Alex vs. ARod. However, according to Rodriguez, the series isn’t about trying to get voters to change their minds.
On the November 6th episode of Today, Rodriguez stated he doesn’t believe he’ll be inducted into the Hall of Fame, especially after the release of the recent docuseries. He admitted he was aware of the rules, chose to break them, and accepts any consequences as his own responsibility.
Rodriguez, after a lot of thought about what happened, received his daughters Natasha, 20, and Ella, 17’s, blessing to openly and honestly share his story.
He told Craig Melvin that this situation is more about mental health than baseball, and that because young people are watching, it’s important to remember and discuss all aspects of the story.
In 2014, the athlete confessed to federal agents that he had purchased and used performance-enhancing drugs from a clinic in Florida specializing in anti-aging treatments. According to MSNBC, he testified under oath – as part of an agreement with the Drug Enforcement Association – that between 2010 and 2012, he used banned substances containing testosterone, aided by a doctor who was not legitimately qualified.
Rodriguez, who stopped playing baseball in 2016, recently told Today that he wasn’t trying to use the documentary to get back into consideration for the Hall of Fame. He explained, “That wasn’t my goal at all.”

Despite that, the 50-year-old also stated he definitely feels he’s earned a place in the Hall of Fame.
The baseball star, drafted into Major League Baseball at 18 and a key player in the Yankees’ 2009 World Series victory with 696 career home runs (ranking fifth all-time), opens up about his personal challenges in a new documentary series. He describes himself as someone “recovering from narcissism,” according to Today.
You know, I’ve been working with people for years, and one thing I always emphasize is the power of long-term support. I recently heard someone share that they’ve been in therapy for over a decade, and it’s truly been life-changing for them. It’s a powerful reminder that prioritizing your mental health isn’t a quick fix – it’s an ongoing journey, and seeking help can be incredibly brave and effective. They said they’re still on the road to recovery, and honestly, that resonates with so many of us. It’s not about ‘being fixed,’ it’s about consistent growth and self-care.
Rodriguez is one of many celebrities who have recently opened up about their personal challenges. Here’s a look at what some other stars have shared…

Okay, so this is a funny one! In June 2024, a fan playfully pointed out that I, Jason Kelce, seem to skip leg day…and maybe the soap too! I responded with a little humor, tweeting, ‘What kind of weirdo washes their feet…?’ It was all in good fun, honestly! I just couldn’t believe someone was actually watching my legs that closely!
The retired Philadelphia Eagles player later doubled down on his comments.
On his podcast, New Heights with his brother Travis Kelce, he jokingly asked, “What kind of person washes someone else’s feet?” He then added that he would scrub off any visible dirt, though.

More than ten years after actor Kristen Stewart shared a story about witnessing a clown’s death in a car accident at the circus when he was a child, he confessed that the story was made up.
Robert remembered telling The New York Times Style Magazine in December 2024 that he reacted with complete surprise. He said he immediately thought, “What on earth? Are you possessed?”
As for what he said during the 2011 Today interview promoting his film Water for Elephants?
He explained that one of the clowns had died in an accident. Their small car, a prop used in the show, unexpectedly exploded, causing panic and fear among everyone present.

Grandma knows best.
Kim Kardashian shared a personal story on an October 2022 episode of The Kardashians about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, unexpectedly played a role in a private moment with her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Kim Kardashian shared a story with her mom, Kris Jenner, and sister Khloe Kardashian about a weekend at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She explained that she and Pete Davidson were chatting by the fireplace for hours when she remembered something her grandmother had told her: that having sex in front of a fireplace is a way to truly live life. Inspired by this, they ended up having sex by the fireplace as a tribute to Kris.
Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.
Kim jokingly remarked, “It’s weird to think about your grandmother right before being intimate!” MJ responded with a laugh, “I know, but everyone has a past!”

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a very close family, including their children, 8-year-old Wyatt and 6-year-old Dimitri, and their love for each other is endless.
So much so, that the Black Swan actress revealed they keep an open-door policy at home.
She told TopMob News in September 2022 that this also applies to the bathroom. She explained it’s simply become normal for her family, including the children, to openly discuss and accept natural bodily functions.
Mila explained she finally gave in after her family repeatedly asked to come inside. She said she eventually thought, ‘Okay, fine, I’ll just leave the door open.’
Pre-kids, she might not have imagined she’d flush that particular boundary away.
She said she never imagined she’d be comfortable enough to use the restroom with the door open.

Ghouls just want to have fun.
During an October 2022 episode of The View, while discussing a woman who claimed her home was haunted by “sexual ghosts,” Sara Haines posed a surprising question to the panel: “Is it possible to get pregnant from a ghost?”
Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, had a humorous response, joking, “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”
“I’m going to leave that comment as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m choosing not to address it further.”

Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are very close friends, but Hoda recently learned something surprising about her “Today” co-host. While preparing for an episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna,” Hoda found out that Jenna always goes without underwear.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what happened! We were getting ready for the show and had to run back to the dressing room, and that’s when I saw it. I mean, I just noticed – Jenna never wears underwear! It was such a moment, I had to share it, it’s just…Jenna! I’m still thinking about it!
Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.
She explained that the outfit created a more flattering shape and was also easier to pack. She felt there were many benefits to choosing it.

Looks like someone hasn’t been keeping up.
Britney Spears related to a popular line from Keke Palmer – “He could be walking down the street, I wouldn’t know a thing” – and confessed she wasn’t familiar with Pete Davidson or Scott Disick.
Britney shared a funny video from March showing Pete Davidson—who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time—and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, having a night out. She said the video had her laughing a lot.
Britney apologized for sharing the post, explaining she didn’t know the people in the video but found it hilarious! She has since removed the original post.

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a total heartthrob.
The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. While she doesn’t remember exactly how many times they went out, she does clearly remember the last time they were together.
Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had some friends visiting from Boston.
Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her partner heading to the bathroom right after she’d used it and noticed her urine smelled like asparagus – something the vegetable can cause. They didn’t end up intimate that night. He stayed up late with friends, and the next morning, Jana quietly left his house, feeling embarrassed.
She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.
In December, television writer Elisabeth Finch confessed that she had fabricated a story about having a rare form of bone cancer. She originally shared this false diagnosis with ELLE magazine eight years prior, and it even became the basis for a plotline on the show Grey’s Anatomy.
Elisabeth recently confessed to telling a lie at age 34, calling it the biggest regret of her life. She explained to The Ankler newsletter that the falsehood grew over time and became a heavy burden. She also clarified, ‘I have never had cancer.’
After being temporarily removed from his role on the ABC medical drama and ultimately resigning, Finch admitted, “I made a mistake. It was completely unacceptable and wrong, in every way.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.
The reality star told The New York Times she’d consider almost any procedure to look younger, joking that she was open to trying everything.
She admitted in June that she’d consider doing almost anything – even something truly unpleasant – if it meant looking younger. She even jokingly suggested she might eat something disgusting daily if it had that effect.
Okay, so I was reading this interview with Kim in Allure from July 2022, and she said she was mostly kidding when she said that thing! But honestly? She didn’t totally shut down the idea, which… amazing. I mean, it didn’t sound half bad to her, and that’s all I need to know. I’ve been replaying that quote in my head ever since!
Kim thought for a moment and then said, ‘Honestly, I’d probably eat something awful if someone promised it would make me look younger – even if it meant eating a bowl of poop every day.’
She wasn’t sure how much she could eat. “Maybe just a bite,” she said. “I definitely couldn’t manage a whole bowl.”

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.
During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer of “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t shy away from the details.
“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”
To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.
He firmly believed it was just a harmless prank. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
