One member of the Backstreet Boys is taking larger than life precautions.
During the Backstreet Boys’ Into the Millennium residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, it’s hard to miss a new member joining the band.
During the performance of their show’s medley from Millennium, Brian and his bandmates ascend 75 feet into the air using a moving platform. Throughout this performance, they are all secured with harnesses, and Brian also has a metal support beam in front of him for added safety.
It’s clear that Brian isn’t hesitant to lend a hand, given how his high anxiety around heights is widely recognized within our circle.
Nick shared with Entertainment Tonight in February, while hinting at their upcoming residency with his bandmates, that “Brian dislikes high places,” which was evident as Brian gave a nod of affirmation. In simpler terms, it means Brian has a fear of heights.
Doubling down on his bandmate and cousin’s fear, Kevin emphasized, “He does not like heights.”
Regarding Brian, he employed a well-known lyric from the band as a way to express his sentiments about flying with them. He humorously questioned, “Why?
Supporters have stood by the “I Want It That Way” vocalist regarding his stage prop, as one unaware spectator shared the anxiety they’d feel when rising aloft despite having a fear of heights.
For those planning to attend the event who may experience motion sickness or fear heights, it’s recommended to hold onto your safety straps as Brian’s performance on the beam was incredible, one TikTok user commented. “Does anyone think Brian might have a fear of heights? He was right in the middle and held onto the bar for most of his time up there. I would be just as cautious.
One commenter remarked, “He certainly isn’t at fault for hanging onto something when he wasn’t laughing out loud,” while another shared anecdotes confirming that Brian has often discussed his fear of heights. They added, “I even have a vintage magazine from 1999 featuring a Q&A with Brian, where he mentioned heights as his greatest phobia!
Overcoming his apprehension, Brian wouldn’t miss out on this unique stage opportunity for anything.
Earlier this year, he shared with Entertainment Tonight that “it’s unlike any other show.” He emphasized, “The location itself is exceptional and unique. We aim to offer our audience something distinctly different.

The Backstreet Boys, who first appeared on the scene in 1996, made a big impact with their album “Millennium” in 1999, shaping the music of the new millennium. Luckily, members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson continue to tour and perform our beloved songs after more than two decades.
Praise goes out to the girl group that brought us Beyoncé! It’s no need to “act like you don’t know” when it comes to Destiny’s Child, because Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams continue to be influential figures in their own right even today.
The well-known boy band, ‘NSYNC, consisted of Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for another reunion show, and we assure you, there will be no hidden obligations or conditions, as we’re not ready to bid a final goodbye – not yet, at least!
To win their affection, you’ve got to connect with their circle, and it’s quite an extensive one! In the ’90s, The Spice Girls captivated the U.K. with their trendy attire and infectious tunes. The fabulous five – Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton – were the dream girl group of that era.
Back in the day, Hanson, just like other ’90s boy bands, scored a hit with their song “MMMBop.” Later on, brothers Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson, and Zac Hanson released an album together in 2013. However, they pursued individual careers after that, with Taylor taking time off to raise seven children. Fortunately, the trio reunited in 2018 for the album “String Theory” and have been touring ever since.
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas continue to be part of the ’90s rap group TLC, following the unfortunate death of original member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002. Lil Mama performed alongside TLC in 2013, prior to the duo announcing a new album in 2017.
Beginning in 2017, the South Korean boy band BTS has taken on the roles of composing, producing, and performing many of their own songs as global sensations. Fans of K-pop, affectionately known as the Army, are renowned for their unwavering enthusiasm and dedication, making them among the most devoted in music history.
Absolutely, you’re right! Nick Lachey was part of a popular boy band known as 98 Degrees. Just reminiscing about it makes the heat rise! The group consisted of Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Nick, along with music producers Drew Lachey and Jeff Timmons. They left college behind to focus on their music careers in the ’90s.
In the late 1980s, New Kids on the Block achieved immense popularity, and they reassembled in 2011 for a nostalgic tour alongside The Backstreet Boys.
The original members of NKOTB consisted of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. After disbanding in 1994, they eventually reunited and shared a stage with the Backstreet Boys in 2011. Unsurprisingly, the announcement for that tour caused quite a stir online. They continue to perform together up until today.
It’s fantastic news that the Jonas Brothers have returned! They offer Nick Jonas’ charming grin, Joe Jonas’ confident swagger, and Kevin Jonas’ big brother appeal. Oh, and let’s not forget they can both sing and play instruments exceptionally well. We might just be a little starstruck since their band first appeared in 2006.
One of the exceptional bands to emerge from a singing competition show, One Direction dominated the globe during the 2010s. Furthermore, this boy band has spawned numerous successful solo ventures. Notable figures like Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and the late Liam Payne have left indelible marks in music (and fashion and film) history.
A group that originated from “The X Factor” is renowned for their pop royalty status and addresses themes such as body positivity, feminism, the challenges of social media, and balancing life as young mothers in their songs.
The members of the K-pop band, BLACKPINK, which consists of Lisa, Rosé, Jennie, and Jisoo, unveiled their first album, titled “THE ALBUM,” in October 2020. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Rosé described their group as a blend of two colors that best represented them: femininity and savagery. They explained that the title ‘Pretty Savage’ from one of their songs fits them well because it encapsulates both the black and pink aspects of their identity.
Prior to adopting the “Work From Home” lifestyle as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Fifth Harmony offered fans an energetic (and seductive) tune to help alleviate any WFH challenges. After the girl group disbanded in 2018, breakout singer Camila Cabello enjoyed a prosperous solo career, including a stint as Cinderella, while other members also released individual projects.
5 Seconds of Summer, an Australian rock band, initially gained recognition through their YouTube videos. Their songs “She Looks So Perfect” and “Girls Talk Boys” eventually received airplay on radio stations. After that, they had the opportunity to go on tour with One Direction, which further boosted their career. Since then, their story has continued to unfold.
For nearly three decades, the trio consisting of Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris (also known as Boyz II Men) have been captivating the music scene with popular songs like “I’ll Make Love to You” and “One Sweet Day.
In an alternate, edgier version to One Direction, the British band The Wanted gained popularity in the U.S. with their 2012 hit “Glad You Came.” Subsequently, they starred in their reality show, “The Wanted Life.” After a break in 2014, they reunited in 2021; however, original member Tom Parker passed away from brain cancer the following year.
In the year 2016, the band CNCO came together with its members Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel De Jesús. However, on May 14, they performed together for the last time as a quintet, since Pimentel declared he was leaving the group.
Big Time Rush, a group that gained fame on Nickelodeon and went on to national tours, rocked the scene for five years before disbanding in 2014. Fortunately, all four members – Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Carlos PenaVega, and James Maslow – reunited for two new shows in December 2021.
In 2002, the groundbreaking British pop band known as Girls Aloud made history by being one of the initial groups to emerge from a reality TV competition. The show that launched them into stardom was called “Popstars: The Rivals.” This dynamic quintet consisted of Sarah Harding, Cheryl (formerly known as Cheryl Cole), Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh. Over the course of their career, Girls Aloud produced 20 consecutive top 10 singles and four number-one hits, such as “Sound of the Underground,” during their dominance in the music industry.
