The popular show I’m a Celebrity is back this spring with an all-stars edition! This time, it features celebrities who previously braved the jungle and are returning for another challenge.
This year’s celebrity lineup features both returning champions like Jimmy Bullard and Scarlett Moffatt, as well as stars who are back for another try after their previous appearances were cut short, such as Craig Charles and Gemma Collins.
Craig and Gemma joined the jungle relatively late in the competition. Many viewers have questioned why Gemma decided to return, considering how difficult her previous experience was back in 2014.
Gemma explained that she doesn’t recall many of the other contestants from her previous appearance on the show, as it was a very difficult experience for her.

Gemma Collins became famous through the reality show The Only Way Is Essex, and that success launched her career as a reality TV star.
She’s since been on several popular reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating, Dancing on Ice, and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Gemma’s first experience in the jungle didn’t go well. She left after a short while because she thought she had malaria and was finding it hard to cope with the limited food.

Many wondered if Gemma Collins could turn things around when she rejoined the show, but she’s determined to prove herself.
Appearing on ‘All Stars’ feels like a turning point in my career, a chance to prove myself,” she told ITV before the show began.
Honestly, getting to do this whole camp thing again feels incredible – a real honor. I’m going in determined to be the best campmate possible and bring home a ton of stars. You can rest assured, if I have anything to do with it, nobody’s going to be going hungry around here!
The moment she received the invitation to be on the new show, she felt a strong urge to accept.
She shared that she’d never visited South Africa previously and believed that’s why the show focused on people from Essex – because most of them hadn’t ventured far from home. She expressed her excitement about finally being there.
How long was Gemma Collins on I’m a Celebrity in 2014?
Gemma Collins lasted just 72 hours in the I’m a Celebrity jungle.
Gemma admitted she didn’t enjoy the experience at all. “I disliked it from the start and was eager to leave,” she said.
Gemma barely spent any time in the jungle and didn’t participate in any of the challenges, explaining that being stuck there was her absolute worst experience.
