Kelly Ripa is sticking with what she was given.
Over the years, the host of “Live with Kelly and Mark” has revealed that the true implications of undergoing plastic surgery have dissuaded her from having a breast augmentation, even though she identifies herself as having small breasts.
On the latest episode of the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast, I openly shared: ‘I don’t have any bust to speak of.’ Now, it’s no secret that I’ve always been on the flat side – it’s become quite apparent by now.
In her current state, the 54-year-old takes great satisfaction in her smaller breast size. However, she’s openly acknowledged that she’s sought medical advice on multiple occasions regarding breast augmentation surgery to enhance their size.
Kelly admitted, “I’ve attended more consultations for breast augmentation than I care to disclose. Whenever someone mentions a new specialist in this field, I make it a point to schedule a consultation.
And according to the TV personality, the appointments go well.
Kelly remarked that the doctors “consistently speak correctly and act appropriately,” but shared her hesitation to proceed with the surgery after learning about cases where people encountered complications.
She stated that since our cell phones overhear our conversations, relevant suggestions appear. In this case, she encountered numerous scary tales about breast augmentation surgeries.
Could it be that the reason Kelly is unwilling to alter that particular aspect of her body is because she dislikes the notion of needing to get new implants every ten years?
In simpler terms, the former star of All My Children stated that most of her friends have undergone breast augmentation procedures and often replace them after about ten years.
Kelly went on to explain, “If I get new tires at age 55, then by age 65, I would need to replace them. By age 75, I would have used up my first set and require a second one. If I live till 85, it seems I’d need another tire change.
Besides her long-term spouse, Mark Consuelos (who she has been married to for 29 years), and with whom she has children Michael (age 28), Lola (age 24), and Joaquin (age 22), he expresses no grievances. As Kelly humorously put it, “It seems like no one is conversing with these individuals except for Mark, and even he appears to be adhering to a ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy regarding them.
She added, “He’s like, ‘We’re good. I’m fine.’”
