Why Kelly Stafford Doesn’t Want To Raise “Spoiled Rotten Brats”

Money isn’t everything to Kelly Stafford.

In a thoughtful discussion, the host of “The Morning After” podcast shared insights about her personal life, highlighting how the achievements of her husband, LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, have positively impacted her beyond just his sports career.

Kelly expressed her deep gratitude on the August 31st episode of the Sunday Sports Club podcast, stating she’s incredibly fortunate to have a steadfastly supportive husband. She also acknowledged that, while many will note it, she’s financially blessed which allows her to undertake certain opportunities and indulge in certain life luxuries.

Although she can afford luxury items, she emphasized that she still desires to demonstrate to herself that she doesn’t require such possessions.

For Kelly, it’s equally crucial to serve as a role model for her daughters Sawyer, Chandler (ages 8), Hunter (age 7), and Tyler (age 5), children she shares with the NFL player.

She clarified, ‘I won’t allow my children to become overly indulged and selfish. That’s not how I will raise them. It’s challenging as it’s tempting to give in to their every demand.’

Raised in a humble environment themselves, Kelly mentioned that she and her 37-year-old partner, Matthew, are devoted to instilling humility in their children, even with their wealthy lifestyle.

She mentioned that her husband wasn’t accustomed to this kind of environment either, which means raising children in such circumstances is an ongoing learning experience for them. As they navigate through it, they are continually picking up new skills.

Kelly has never been reticent when it comes to sharing her methods of parenting. As far back as June, she openly admitted that using cannabis-infused gummies sometimes helped manage her household more effectively.

In her podcast “Morning After” in June, she expressed that gummies help her feel more effective as a parent because they have a soothing effect on her, similar to a glass of wine.

While she acknowledged experiencing “a touch of guilt” about it at times, she emphasized that her children’s essential needs were nonetheless being fulfilled.

So, as far as I’m concerned, if they’re cozy in bed, well-fed, content, and feeling loved – regardless of the means – that’s all that matters. Just ensure they reach that state.” – Kelly emphasized, “Achieve that goal.

Following his performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Matthew had the chance to reconnect with three of his daughters in a private suite.
