No actor shall fill a blank page in Kristin Cavallari‘s dating book again.
Not even her latest celebrity crush.
During her podcast, Let’s Be Honest, the former Hills star confessed she finds Brandon Sklenar very attractive and would be interested in dating him if he weren’t already in a relationship. However, she added that she generally avoids dating actors.
I have to agree with Kristin – she’s spot on! As many of us know, Brandon’s been with Courtney Salviolo for years now, and she really hit the nail on the head when she talked about why she doesn’t date actors. It’s those terrible work schedules! They just seem impossible to manage, and it makes building a normal relationship so difficult.
She explained that he would be present on set, and it would be incredibly difficult to manage schedules if he had to travel to her frequently.
And then there’s her personal theory about actors.
From my experience working with creative people, I’ve noticed a lot of actors seem to be driven by a need for approval – it’s almost like they’re searching for reassurance from others, which is often what draws them to the profession in the first place. And honestly? Many of them are just genuinely quirky and down-to-earth people – a bit nerdy, even – which is part of what makes them so endearing!
Although she’s currently not publicly dating anyone, Kristin has been romantically involved with actors in the past, including Nick Zano from the show What I Like About You. When they were reportedly dating in 2006 and 2007, Kristin even got Nick’s initials tattooed on her wrist, but she later had the tattoo removed after they split up.
In a 2024 social media video with her close friend Justin Anderson, she didn’t address a rumor about a previous brief romantic encounter with Jason Statham, choosing neither to confirm nor deny it.
Kristin Cavallari has dated several people since her split from NFL player Jay Cutler in 2020. She had relationships with comedian Jeff Dye and TikTok personality Mark Estes, each lasting a few months. More recently, in 2024, she revealed she previously dated country singer Morgan Wallen, describing him as a good casual partner.

Kristin Cavallari, known for her tour Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, recently revealed she isn’t currently dating anyone.
“It doesn’t exist,” the 38-year-old told Justin Sylvester and Keltie Knight of TopMob News. “That’s been the case all year. It’s funny, actually, because people assume I have a really active dating life, but I haven’t been on a single date this whole year.”
Kristin revealed that her children—Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 10—have played a role in who she chooses to date.
She found it amusing how strongly her friends would react to things. They hadn’t really interacted with anyone outside of her ex, Mark, for years, but she always kept them informed about who she was talking to. Even with just a photo as a reference, they’d form very definite opinions.
She added, “They’re more my rules, and now they agree with them.”
Kristin has said she’s hoping to date someone older and who is a father, preferably someone who prefers to stay out of the public eye.
She said she’d prefer someone who already has children and isn’t famous. She’s looking for a regular, down-to-earth guy.
Speaking of kids, look back at Kristin’s sweetest mom moments…

In May 2022, Kristin Cavallari celebrated her son Jaxon’s 8th birthday with a social media post. She cleverly hid his face behind a large gold balloon shaped like the number eight. Cavallari explained that it gets harder each year to find ways to share birthday photos while respecting her children’s privacy. She wants them to decide for themselves when they’re ready to be on social media. She described Jaxon as a unique blend of rebellious spirit and kindness, and expressed her excitement to watch him grow into a wonderful young man.

Kristin, who usually keeps her children’s faces private on social media, shared a heartwarming photo of her three kids – Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor – taking their dog for a walk. She captioned the September 2022 post, “These weekends make me happy,” and added, “Heart full.”

Oh my gosh, Saylor is another year older! Kristin shared the cutest picture of them walking together – though Saylor’s face was turned away, it was still adorable! And the caption… seriously, I’m tearing up just reading it! She said Saylor is this amazing mix of everything – tough and sweet, strong and sensitive, a total tomboy but still girly! Apparently, Saylor is super caring and has the biggest heart. Kristin said being Saylor’s mom is her favorite gift, and honestly? Same! I just love how much she adores her little one. It’s so precious!

The reality star introduced Mark Estes to her children just a month after they began dating. She shared a photo of him walking with one of her sons on Instagram in March 2024. Although her kids had been hesitant about her past relationships, they quickly liked Mark, before they eventually split in September 2024. She explained on her podcast, Let’s Be Honest, that her sons were thrilled for her and that she’s always made an effort to keep her dating life separate from them, and they just want her to be happy.

Kristin shared that her son, Camden (born in August 2012), wanted to start being more active on social media. As a result, he recently appeared in one of her cooking videos. In an Instagram post, Kristin explained she’s letting Camden, now 12, make his own choices about social media. She feels he’s mature enough to decide for himself, joking that he acts much older than his age.

In December 2024, Kristin shared a sweet photo of herself with her daughter, Saylor, at a Nashville Predators hockey game. Saylor, a big fan, wore a yellow Predators jersey and had a “Go Preds” sticker on her face.

Kristin Cavallari recently shared a rare photo of her middle child, Jaxon, who was born in May 2014. She posted the picture to her Instagram Story on January 28th, showing him working on a poster for a class election with the slogan “Vote Jaxon for Mayor.” This is only the second time she’s publicly shown his face on social media since his birth.

In February 2025, Kristin posted on Instagram about life at home in Tennessee with her daughter, Saylor. She shared photos of them enjoying cozy winter activities like baking and walking in the snow, calling them both “homebodies” and highlighting their close relationship.

Kristin recently tried the famous Hattie B’s Hot Chicken for the first time and shared the experience with her son, Camden, in a video. She posted about it on Instagram in March 2025, admitting she’d never tried it before and asking if it was spicy. Camden tried a piece and said it wasn’t too hot. Both Kristin, known from The Hills, and Camden clearly enjoyed it, with Kristin captioning the post, “Honestly, so good!”
