Nicholas Hoult doesn’t have a skyscraper with his name on it, but he’s a pretty famous guy.

He demonstrates that a celebrity can build a strong team privately and on their own conditions. The actor, known for playing Superman, and his wife, Bryana Holly, famously kept their first pregnancy in 2018 quiet, only making a noticeable public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 15th without ever officially announcing it.

They also kept their second pregnancy in 2022 a secret, and didn’t announce either baby’s arrival until several months later.

Nicholas Hoult said he wasn’t worried about people finding out he had a baby, telling the Evening Standard in January 2019 that it was ‘no big deal.’ He explained he had a nine-month-old child at home and simply wanted to keep that part of his life private for the time being, calling it his ‘precious little thing.’

Now 36, the actor has been seen out with his 7-year-old son, Joaquin, but he and Holly haven’t revealed the name of Joaquin’s brother. In a recent interview with GQ published on October 13th, Hoult mentioned he views watches as potential “family heirlooms,” something he hopes to pass down to his sons.

The star of The Favourite and her partner both prefer to keep their relationship private, especially since they’ve dealt with a lot of public attention in past relationships.

Nicholas Hoult first gained attention at age 12 in the 2002 film About a Boy. While he began taking on more adult roles, like in X-Men: First Class, his relationships often drew more attention – particularly his romance with Jennifer Lawrence. Holly, his sister, even appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2013 while dating Brody Jenner.

Although the public knew them as a good-looking couple and later as parents of two children, rumors of their marriage didn’t surface until 2024.

In a November 2024 appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Nicholas Hoult revealed his phone wallpaper is a picture of his wife and children.

He playfully explained that everything around him – his movie posters, headshots, and resume – essentially was him. Showing his dry wit, he joked with Josh Horowitz, “I’m emotionally available to you, and only you… and occasionally my kids.”

A couple of weeks later, he further hinted at his relationship, jokingly telling TopMob News at the 2024 Governors Awards that his upcoming movie, Nosferatu, was so frightening it left him with marks from his “wife’s nails” digging into his arm.

The couple finally walked the red carpet together for the first time in over seven years at the premiere of a horror movie on December 13, 2024.

Holly has posted a sweet message on Instagram for Nicholas Hoult, playfully wishing him a “Happy Daddy’s Day” in 2025 with a family photo. The faces of their two sons were covered with heart-shaped stickers, and she wrote, “We couldn’t love you more.”

She added, ‘If you know, you know,’ implying those familiar with breastfeeding would understand.

Nicholas and Bryana had a baby in 2022, a little one who is now nineteen months old. They haven’t revealed the baby’s name yet.

The couple recently enjoyed a rare date night out, having attended a Los Angeles Lakers-Philadelphia 76ers game in 2023 and Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
