Why Rebel Wilson Had to Share Baby No. 2 News Earlier Than Expected

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma know one person even more thrilled than they are about their baby news. 

The actor from Pitch Perfect explained that their three-year-old daughter, Royce, was so thrilled about the arrival of her little sister that they had to announce the pregnancy sooner than they intended.

Rebel Wilson shared on the Today show that her daughter, Royce, has been excitedly telling everyone about her new baby sister. According to Wilson, Royce will announce, ‘I’m getting a baby sister,’ and strangers will then congratulate them on the upcoming arrival.

The secret became so well-known within Royce’s social circle that the Bridesmaids actress decided to officially announce it.

I figured I should post about it on social media,” she continued. “She really loves to talk!”

Rebel and Ramona, who got married in 2024, are very excited to have more children.

Having a baby completely transformed my life, so we’re excited to be expecting another one! My wife, Ramona, is very pregnant and due any day now. We’re thrilled to be growing our family with another beautiful baby.

Rebel and Ramona shared the joyful news of their pregnancy late last year, announcing it in a December Instagram post as the “happiest” news they could imagine.

Ramona announced she and Rebel Wilson are expecting their second child, sharing the news with a sweet message: “It will be 4 of us soon!” and “I love you @rebelwilson.”

Meanwhile, the How to Be Single actress added in a comment, “Baby, so happy for our gorgeous babies!”

Rebel Wilson welcomed her first child with Ramona Agruma in 2022, shortly after they began dating, and had previously shared her difficulties with IVF before turning to surrogacy. Now, Ramona is pregnant with their second child, but Rebel wasn’t certain she wanted to try for another baby.

In 2023, Rebel Wilson told TopMob News she’s hoping to have another child. She explained that she’s exploring IVF to see if it’s possible, and will wait to see how the process goes.

Oh my gosh, Rebel Wilson is pregnant again with baby number two! But you know what gets me? She talks about her first little one, Roycie, like she’s the most precious thing ever.
