Alix Earle isn’t hiding her pain.
More than a month after announcing her split from Houston Texans player Braxton Berrios, the TikToker recently became emotional while discussing how lonely she feels now that she’s single.
In a TikTok video posted on January 20th, Alix shared that the hardest part of her breakup and being alone isn’t necessarily the breakup itself, but simply being alone. While she has support from friends and family, she misses the consistent companionship and having someone to talk to or take her mind off things.
The 25-year-old admitted this was one of the first times she’d really felt on her own after the split.
I’ve always tended to be in relationships,” she explained. “I used to jump from boyfriend to boyfriend, but this year I decided I wanted to learn to be happy on my own, and I’m struggling to figure out why it’s so hard.
As she put it, “This is like, growth or something, but I’m sad.”
Alix admitted that being single can be lonely, but she’s committed to navigating life independently and finding her own way.
“I’m not lonely at all,” she said. “I’m just going to start treating you all as if you’re my boyfriend. And if that feels strange to you, just know you’re not the only one.”
Alix wasn’t the only notable face at the College Playoff National Championship. She attended the game—where Indiana won 27-21—to cheer on her college, Miami University, and was seen in a suite with Jordon Hudson, who is dating Bill Belichick.

Since ending her relationship with Braxton, Alix has sparked rumors of a new romance. She was seen looking friendly with NFL legend Tom Brady on New Year’s Eve, and videos circulating on social media show them dancing together.
After spending the night together, Alix playfully addressed the dating speculation with a joke on Instagram on January 3rd: “Rumor has it we’re still dancing.”

The couple took a trip to the Bahamas in November during the Miami Dolphins’ bye week.
Braxton posted a series of pics from the getaway on his Instagram page, writing, “Worth the wait.”
