Tonight, December 23rd, CBS will be showing the 48th Annual Kennedy Center Honors starting at 8 PM Eastern Time. The special will take up most of the usual three-hour slot for the NCIS shows on Tuesdays. While CBS hasn’t confirmed what will air instead of new NCIS episodes in the coming weeks, it’s likely they will broadcast re-runs.

Since the episode is still months away, CBS hasn’t shared many details yet. It’s unclear whether NCIS will resolve the recent cliffhanger right away or save it for later. Interestingly, the show is also nearing its 500th episode, which could be a fitting time to explore what happens with Bishop’s storyline.
