Will Marc Anthony’s Kids Follow in His Musical Footsteps? He Says…

Marc Anthony is ready to share the stage.

The Grammy-winning artist, who has won four times, shared that he thinks his children might also become musicians, as they all show some natural musical ability.

Everyone is potentially able to succeed, to a degree,” Marc explained to TopMob News. “Ultimately, it depends on what they choose to do. And yes, they definitely have the ability.”

As a dad to a pretty big blended family – Arianna, Chase, Ryan, Cristian, Emme, Maximilian, and little Marco – I’m so happy to see that my passion for music has rubbed off on my kids. Everyone always asks if they’ll be joining me for my new show in Vegas, and let’s just say I’m keeping that a surprise for now! It’s exciting to think about, but I like to keep things a little mysterious.

Fans might be there to support him when “Vegas…My Way!” begins at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas on February 13th.

“Anything is possible,” he said. “It’s gonna come down to some are in school, some are in break.”

Even though Marc’s show is described as a small, one-person performance, the singer—who recently announced on January 28th that Nadia is expecting their eighth child—hinted that he has more special guests planned.

He explained that if a musician passes through town and plays salsa, they’re immediately invited onstage to play together. He also mentioned he has around six or seven songs he’s never performed live, either in person or virtually, but he hopes to play some of them with visiting musicians.

Plus, Marc explained that his Vegas shows will allow him to try out a different style of show.

I usually don’t speak much during my stadium or arena concerts—they’re just big rock shows. But this tour feels different; it allows me to share stories and create a more personal connection with the audience. It’s a much more intimate setting, and it really suits that kind of performance.

Before Marc begins his “Vegas…My Way!” show on February 13th, here’s a look at his family history.

Marc Anthony and his then-girlfriend, Debbie Rosado, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Arianna, on June 29, 1994. She was the first of Marc’s two children with Debbie.

Marc and Debbie, who was a police officer at the time, separated in 1996. Although they weren’t together, Marc remained involved in his children’s lives, though looking back, he wished he could have been even more present.

I’m grateful my children have always understood that my job doesn’t follow a typical schedule and often requires me to travel. We prioritize making the most of the time we do have together when I’m home, really cherishing those moments as a family, he shared with People en Español in 2019.

Marc and Debbie’s son Chase was born in 1995.

He leads a mostly private life, but has used social media to show support for his family.

Following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony quickly married Shannon De Lima in 2014. Chase, his son, shared on Twitter (according to Hola! magazine), “My dad is happy, I’m happy. Love you dad.” He also added a message of continued affection for Jennifer Lopez, stating, “I still LOVE my stepmom @JLo forever – she’ll always be my stepmom!”

Marc and Shannon divorced in 2017, after separating in 2016. Despite the split, Shannon maintained a close relationship with her former stepdaughter, Arianna, publicly wishing her a happy birthday in 2017 with a heartfelt message expressing her love and missing her dearly.

Marc married Miss Universe 1993 winner Dayanara Torres on May 9, 2000, in Las Vegas.

The first of their two kids, son Cristian, was born Feb. 5, 2001.

The artist, Cris Muniz Torres, graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2023. Her father, Marc, shared his joy on Instagram, writing, “I love my kids to the moon and back. And we get to celebrate you today!”

Cristian and his girlfriend, Kylie Jane Marco, celebrated their seven-year anniversary on January 26, 2026. Kylie shared a sweet video of Cristian walking their dog on the beach, writing a heartfelt message about her love for him and how quickly time has passed.

After briefly separating in 2002, Marc and Dayanara welcomed son Ryan on Aug. 16, 2003.

However, they did end their relationship the following year. Marc quickly remarried, tying the knot with Jennifer Lopez in 2004, while Dayanara later shared that she hoped to maintain a positive relationship with the father of her children.

In her 2009 book, Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce, she explained that her sons have pictures of their father around their rooms. She emphasized that he is still very much alive, despite their divorce, and remains a vital part of their lives. She made a point of creating a positive environment in her home, ensuring no one spoke negatively about him, especially when the children were with him. She wrote the book because she knew many others were experiencing similar or even more difficult situations, and often acted out of anger, leading to regret. Her goal was to share how she navigated the divorce with a focus on what was best for her children.

Ryan’s graduation from Woodland Hills Middle School in 2017 was a family affair, with his parents, Jennifer Lopez, and his half-siblings Max and Emme all there to celebrate.

In May 2023, Cristian publicly shared a heartwarming video tribute to his brother, featuring childhood memories—many highlighting their mutual passion for Star Wars. He captioned it with a sweet message: “Love you Ry Ry!”

Shortly after finalizing his divorce and following Jennifer Lopez’s broken engagement with Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony married Lopez on June 5, 2004.

Emme and Max, twins born on February 22, 2008, are the children of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Though the couple separated in 2011 and officially divorced in 2014, they continued to raise their children together as friends.

In 2019, Jennifer Lopez wished her ex, Alex Rodriguez, a Happy Father’s Day, writing, “Emme and Max love you so much!” She also playfully thanked him for their two children, calling them her “beautiful coconuts,” and included a Spanish “Feliz Día Del Padre!”

Emme has proven to be a natural performer, having joined Jennifer Lopez onstage during the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Shakira, and also in other concerts.

Both of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s children have their parents’ complete support if Emme decides to pursue a singing career, but only if it’s something she genuinely loves.

Marc Anthony has always loved music and hopes his daughter, Emme, will feel the same way. In a 2019 interview with Enrique Santos on iHeartRadio, he said that if Emme chooses to pursue music, it should be because she genuinely enjoys it, not to chase fame or approval from others.

Born eleven minutes after his twin sister, Max seems to be following in his parents’ creative footsteps. He played the coroner in his school’s 2020 production of The Wizard of Oz and recently made his film debut in his mother’s 2022 movie, Marry Me.

As a longtime fan, I’ve always been struck by how wonderfully different Jennifer’s twins are. She described them back in 2015 as total opposites, like yin and yang, and it’s so true! Emme really is her mother’s mini-me – incredibly focused, sensitive, and quiet. Max, though? He’s all Marc – bursting with energy and hilarious. They’ve both stayed true to themselves since day one, and it’s just amazing to see.

She also shared with Extra that her children are very active and enjoy a variety of lessons and activities. They’ve both expressed interest in piano and vocal training, and they currently participate in gymnastics and taekwondo. She says they’re always asking to try new things.

In March 2025, Marc told TopMob News that after all those years, the most important lesson was simple: give your kids what they want and listen to what they say.

Jennifer mentioned to TopMob in December that her children weren’t as interested in her work as they used to be, as they were focusing on their own hobbies and activities.

She also mentioned that they attended her Las Vegas show rehearsal yesterday, are here today, and will be present tomorrow. She described them as supportive and loving fans who are very proud of her.

Marc married Paraguayan beauty queen Nadia Ferreira on Jan. 28, 2023.

Weeks after Valentine’s Day, they announced they were expecting their first child, and their son, Marco, was born on June 12th.

In March 2025, Marc shared with TopMob News how much he was enjoying life with his family and wife. He mentioned his son, Marquito, is a year and a half old, and he’s cherishing this time in his life.

Nadia has generally kept her son out of the public eye, and hasn’t shared pictures of his face on Instagram. However, fans got a glimpse of how cute he was when she dressed as Tinker Bell and took him trick-or-treating in October 2025 – he was a charming Peter Pan!

Marc and Nadia announced they are expecting their second child on their third wedding anniversary.

The couple excitedly announced they’re expecting another baby, sharing a photo of Nadia’s baby bump with the message, ‘What a wonderful gift!’ They also expressed their gratitude, saying ‘God is great,’ and revealed that their son, Marquito, is thrilled to become a big brother.
