It looks like the royal family will continue to look out for one another.
Despite removing Prince Andrew’s royal titles because of his connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, King Charles III will still financially support his brother.
The king didn’t say exactly how much money Prince Andrew, now formally known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, will receive. However, he announced that the prince will be moving out of Royal Lodge and will live in a private home on the Sandringham estate, according to NBC News.
Oh, it’s just awful! Andrew and Fergie are officially done, and she’s having to figure everything out on her own now. They’ve even taken away her Duchess of York title, which is so unfair! But thankfully, at least their beautiful daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, are still princesses – they deserve to keep their titles, they’ve done nothing wrong! I’m just so worried about the whole family, honestly.
On October 30th, the King formally removed Andrew’s royal titles and honors – including his roles as Prince, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, and Baron Killyleagh, as well as his style of ‘His Royal Highness’ and honors like the Order of the Garter. This decision followed Andrew’s October 17th announcement that he would relinquish his titles, citing ongoing accusations that were creating a distraction for the King and the Royal Family.
Despite the claims, Andrew maintained his innocence, stating, “I strongly deny the accusations, as I’ve said before.”
Although he claimed otherwise, Buckingham Palace stated on October 30th that they feel these recent criticisms require a response.

The King and Queen want everyone to know they deeply sympathize with, and continue to support, all those affected by abuse in any form.

Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down from his Duke of York title, King Charles III announced that his brother would also lose his home at Royal Lodge and no longer be known as a Prince.
Buckingham Palace announced today that King Charles has begun the official process of removing Prince Andrew’s royal titles and honors. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will no longer use the title Duke of York. This decision comes after ongoing public concern about his association with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
After talking with The King and my family, I’ve decided the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. Therefore, I stand by my decision to step back from public duties, which I made five years ago.”
Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking a further step and would be giving up his royal title and honors. He reaffirmed that he strongly denies the allegations made against him.

I was so thrilled to see the King and his son at the Countdown to COP30 event last October! It was wonderful to see them both at London’s Natural History Museum, really showing their commitment to tackling climate change.
The couple took photos outside the museum and then went inside to talk with government officials and activists focused on fighting climate change. This event happened before the COP30 World Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil, in November, which Prince William will attend in place of his father.

In September 2025, Sarah, Duchess of York, stepped down as a patron of Julia’s House after an old email from 2011 surfaced. The email revealed she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a friend.
After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue her role as a patron of the charity. The charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed gratitude for her previous contributions, according to The Guardian.
A representative for Ferguson stated the email was sent following a threat made by Epstein.

After a gap of nearly two years, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House, the King’s home in London, likely to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the Royal Navy.
Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded solely by the monarch – in this case, her husband, King Charles III – based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins.

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine cancelled her appearance at Royal Ascot, according to Kensington Palace.
The palace says Kate was sad she couldn’t attend the event, but she’s still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when the courts rejected his claim. This came over a year after a previous request for increased protection was denied by the High Court’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security details were reduced. However, Harry continued to request security whenever he returned to the U.K. in the following years.
Prince Harry told the BBC on May 2nd that he was deeply upset by the outcome of his recent legal fight. He stated that, as things currently stand, he doesn’t foresee returning to the UK with his wife and children.

In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry explained that his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. He expressed hope that they can resolve their differences and rebuild their relationship.
Prince Harry said he wants to repair his relationship with his family, including his father, but it’s up to his dad to make the first move. He shares two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with Meghan.
Honestly, it breaks my heart to hear him say he doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He’s expressed how deeply sad he is that his children might not ever really get to know, or experience, their heritage and his home country – it’s a really tough situation for him.
Honestly, it all comes down to my dad, you know? He’s got so much power and influence in this whole situation. He could fix everything, but he doesn’t even need to get directly involved! Just… step back, let the people who actually know what they’re doing take over, and let them handle it. It’s like, he just needs to allow things to happen, and everything would be okay. I just wish he’d realize that!
After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”

More than a year after revealing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has highlighted the kindness and strength he’s seen in people.
In a booklet offering support to people with cancer, Charles wrote that a diagnosis is understandably scary for patients and their families. However, drawing from his own experience, he emphasized that it can also reveal incredible kindness and strength in others.
He expressed his gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience deepened his respect for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’d known and supported for years.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.
I was surprised to hear that while King Charles and Queen Camilla were enjoying celebrations with the family, Prince William and Kate chose to spend the weekend at their country home in Norfolk with the children. Several news sources have reported this, and it seems like they just preferred a more private family time.
This was the second Easter the couple missed. It happened just a week after Princess Kate announced she was being treated for cancer.

On April 15th, Jason Knauf was appointed the new CEO of Prince William’s environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize. In a statement released on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the team and community to further their goal of hopeful and impactful solutions for the planet.
He was promoted almost seven years after he raised concerns about Meghan Markle’s behavior, claiming she bullied two assistants and tried to discredit another staff member. Representatives for the Sussexes dismissed the claims, telling The Times they were part of a deliberate effort to spread false and damaging information.
Buckingham Palace looked into the claims, but the investigation concluded in 2022 with no public announcement of the results.

William and Kate’s eldest son George attended a soccer match in Paris alongside his dad April 7.
A father and son happily watched the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final match between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa at Parc des Princes stadium.

I was absolutely gutted to hear about Graham Craker. He was one of the royal family’s bodyguards – can you believe he actually protected Harry and William?! He passed away in April, he was 77. It just feels so strange knowing someone who was so close to them is gone. I always noticed him in the background of photos, always so professional. It’s a real loss.
Craker was with Princes William and Harry when they found out their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he was present at her funeral.
In 2017, Craker told The New York Post that he was standing at the back of the hearse when Prince William looked up and saw him. Craker nodded back, and William seemed reassured to know that his mother was accompanied on her last journey.

I was so incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Prince Frederik. He was only 22 years old, and after a brave fight with a very rare genetic disease called PolG mitochondrial disease, he’s gone. He was the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, and it’s just heartbreaking to think of their loss, and the loss to everyone who knew him.
Robert shared in a statement that Frederik is a superhero to him, their family, and countless friends. Thanks to Frederik’s PolG Foundation, his positive influence now extends to people around the globe. Robert believes Frederik’s strength came from his ability to inspire others and lead through his own actions.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers – the company behind both The Sun and the now-closed News of the World – on January 22nd. He had sued them in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for the newspapers illegally obtained information about the royal family.
According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount of money in damages and offering Harry a complete and sincere apology. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and harmful coverage that invaded both his and Princess Diana’s privacy.

She acknowledged that it was okay to feel those emotions.
Meghan fondly remembered her beloved Guy, saying, “Thank you for always loving me, and for bringing so much joy to my life.”

Meghan Markle, known for her role in the TV show Suits, launched a new Instagram account on January 1st. She had previously closed her personal social media accounts right before marrying Prince Harry in 2018.
Oh my gosh, you guys, she did it! Just one day after everything, Meghan announced her own Netflix series! It’s called With Love, Meghan, and the press release said it’s going to be totally different – not just your typical lifestyle show. Apparently, it’s going to be a mix of, like, actual helpful tips and just…hanging out and chatting with her friends, both people we already know and new ones! I’m already obsessed and counting down the days!
