Meanwhile, the series’ director, Fûga Yamashiro, teased that he has ideas for season 3 already.
In an interview with ScreenRant, the creator mentioned that a future storyline in ‘Dan Da Dan’ will introduce aliens and new characters, but fans won’t see it until after season 2.
It would have been easy to quickly exhaust all the color choices if I’d given each new character a unique one. Thankfully, I managed to avoid that issue this season.

I’m keeping an eye on whether *Dan Da Dan* gets another season, and if it does, I’d guess we’ll see season 3 sometime in spring or summer of 2026. But it’s important to remember that’s just an estimate – there’s no official release date confirmed yet, so things could shift.
