Now that all episodes of Dispatch have been released, viewers are asking if the comedic superhero workplace show will return for a second season.
We understand your frustration and have checked what the developers at AdHoc have said to see if we can find an answer.
We’ve gathered information from various online sources and also received a direct statement from the developers themselves.
Given the incredibly talented actors involved, it’s no wonder Dispatch has become so popular, and fans are already eagerly awaiting more.
But with all that said, read on for our Dispatch news dispatch!
Will there be a Dispatch season 2?
While a second season of Dispatch hasn’t been officially announced, there are reasons to be optimistic.
Dispatch quickly became popular, reaching over 131,000 concurrent players on Steam, with even more playing on PlayStation. It sold a million copies in just ten days, proving to be a major hit. Given this success, the developers, AdHoc Studio, should continue to support and update the game.
Now that the last episodes have been released, we’re quickly running out of things to watch, and hoping AdHoc has another surprise in store for us soon.
What have the developers have said about Dispatch season 2?
We’re amazed by the fantastic reaction to Dispatch and are so grateful for all the excitement from our fans.
We don’t have any news about a second season of Dispatch right now, but we are discussing potential future projects within the studio.
This isn’t the first time they’d said as much, however.
Nick Herman, co-founder of AdHoc Studio, recently hinted at a possible second season of their project. Speaking on the Friends Per Second podcast, Herman told Forbes that while they weren’t sure about continuing the project just three weeks ago, the positive response now means they’re seriously considering it – which he called a ‘very cool problem to have.’
Actor Aaron Paul, known for his role as Robert Robertson in the game, expressed his desire for the game to have multiple seasons while speaking with YouTuber Moist Critical. He said he hopes they’ll be able to create more content in the future.
I can really tell the team wants to make something special, but honestly, building a game – especially one like Dispatch with all its different story paths – takes a lot of work and money. It’s a huge undertaking!
