Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club books are hugely popular with crime fiction readers. Following the September 2025 release of ‘The Impossible Fortune,’ fans are already wondering when the next book will be published. Although there’s no official news about a sixth title or its release date yet, excitement is building.
I’m a huge fan of Osman’s books! What I love most is how he crafts these really gripping mysteries alongside characters you genuinely care about. Each new book gets me so excited, and it’s amazing to see the series has become a global phenomenon – especially with that fantastic Netflix adaptation. Everyone’s buzzing about the sixth book, but so far, details are being kept tightly under wraps, which just adds to the anticipation!
There’s no confirmed release date for the next Thursday Murder Club book yet, but based on Richard Osman’s history and recent news, it seems the story is still being written and we can expect another installment eventually.
Will there be a The Thursday Murder Club book 6?
We don’t have a confirmed release date yet for the sixth book in the Thursday Murder Club series. The last book, The Impossible Fortune, came out on September 25, 2025. The books have usually been released about once a year, but there’s no official confirmation that will happen again this year.
Richard Osman has suggested he plans to continue writing the series. A sixth book is in the works and is expected to be released in the United States sometime between 2026 and 2027. Details about when it will be available in the UK, or any other specifics, haven’t been announced yet.
What could The Thursday Murder Club Book 6 be about?
As of now, there’s no official information about what the sixth book will be about. After the events of The Impossible Fortune, which changed how the group interacts and highlighted different characters, we can probably expect to see those characters continue to grow. But the main mystery of the next book is still a secret.
