The Astronauts have unveiled the “Webgrave” update for the Early Access version of the dark fantasy first-person shooter Witchfire. This update introduces a complex, multi-tiered area to discover, an array of potent new equipment, a refined system for enhancing the Preyer’s skills, user-friendly onboarding processes, and numerous bug fixes and enhancements in quality.
Get the details below.
In the latest “Webgrave” update, we’re introduced to a new setting in a realm largely controlled by the Witch – Velmorne used to be an ordinary town, but after being affected by witchcraft, its inhabitants underwent grotesque transformations. Now, they wander aimlessly through deserted streets and squares, posing a threat to any who dare traverse its abandoned roads. This update also includes a thorough tutorial that players have been asking for, which is set on a new map and serves as a refresher for those revisiting the world of “Witchfire.
“Webgrave” is also bringing a number of revamped mechanics –
- Workshop and Stats 2.0 – The weapon and gear research system and player stats have been rebuilt for better clarity.
- Rosary Beads – A new system to customize the Preyer’s abilities, Rosary Beads, joins the game to give players new build options to discover.
- New Difficulty – Gnosis VI, an even higher difficulty level for those most advanced and versed in Preyer combat, raises the stakes for long-time players.
Witchfire is currently in Early Access for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
