Witney Carson Reacts to Fans Sliding Her DMs to Date Robert Irwin

Witney Carson is giving a final bow to her matchmaker era.

It seems she’s getting a lot of attention from people interested in her! The Dancing With the Stars professional dancer shared a funny story about fans sending messages to her dance partner, Robert Irwin, trying to connect with him through direct messages.

“Girls, I appreciate all of you! Thank you for sending in applications through my email and messaging me so much,” Witney, 31, shared on her Instagram Stories on September 26th. “If I could, I’d match you all up with Robert because you’re all absolutely perfect and adorable. We’re really busy with dancing right now, so we can’t get back to everyone.”

As someone who keeps up with relationship dynamics, I’ve been following Witney’s situation, and she’s definitely met some potential partners. But, as a mom to Kevin, 4, and Jet, 2, with her husband Carson McAllister, she really feels her son Robert, 21, deserves his own platform to find love – a dating show where *he* can be the star!

“Robert for Bachelor?!” Witney asked, then jokingly commented on the large number of applications she’s been getting. “I don’t know, this is all too much for me to deal with, haha.”

Honestly, I was so surprised to see how much attention this got when the choreographer offered to check out Robert’s DMs! That very same day, the Crickey?! It’s The Irwins star shared a really fun TikTok of Witney totally getting into the role of wingman, and actually reading his messages. She didn’t reveal any of the private content, of course, but the comments section quickly filled up with fans offering themselves as potential dates for Robert. It was hilarious!

However, the zookeeper wants his future partner to meet his certain requirements.

“More than anything, it’s about real kindness,” Robert shared with TopMob News after the Sept. 23 episode of DWTS, when discussing what he looks for in a partner. “It’s really important to be around people who are truly kind.”

Robert is also hoping for someone who shows interest in his multi-hyphenate career.

“Life is incredibly busy and exciting,” he went on. “I’m hoping to share all of this with a partner, and especially those small, everyday moments. I admire a lot of couples and think, ‘That’s what I want for myself.’ I’m looking for that kind of relationship.”
