KingsIsle Entertainment has announced that Wizard101, the popular online role-playing game, will be available on Nintendo Switch on January 13th. The game originally launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 9, 2024.
The game is free to download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the Switch version costs $19.99 and includes the first of the game’s five story arcs. Players can unlock the remaining arcs by buying Crowns, which are the game’s premium currency. Players on Switch will be able to play with those on other consoles, as all versions share the same online server.
Wizard101 originally came out on computers on September 2, 2008. You can still download and play it directly, or through Steam.
