You don’t usually see Woody Harrelson and Laura Louie on a joint outing, but now you do. 

Kelsey Grammer and his wife of 17 years were seen together in public for the first time in two years at a ceremony honoring director James L. Brooks on December 11th. The event was Brooks’ Hollywood Walk of Fame star dedication.

Laura, age 60, celebrated by wearing a fedora-style sun hat and a vibrant orange and navy floral wrap dress. Woody chose a straw fedora, a cream-colored short-sleeved shirt, and gray pants.

The couple, parents to Deni, 31, Zoe, 29, and Makani, 19, looked genuinely happy together, listening with smiles to another guest.

Okay, so Laura and Woody are super private, which I totally get, but every now and then, she’ll give us a little peek into their relationship, and honestly, it’s EVERYTHING. It’s like finding a hidden treasure – just a tiny glimpse of their life together, and I’m instantly obsessed! She’s 64, and they’re so sweet together, it makes my heart melt whenever I see anything about them.

Woody Allen explained to The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 that he used to be skeptical of marriage. He never understood the idea of being with one person for life and admitted he struggled with long-term relationships, often dating whoever was interested in him. However, he says all of that changed when he met his wife.

The couple originally met in the 1980s while working on the set of Cheers. Woody unexpectedly asked Laura to be his assistant, and they worked together professionally for three years before developing a romantic connection.

Looking back, I realized I was trying to deny my attraction to my incredible assistant,” the Hunger Games star shared. “I started having thoughts about Laura, fantasizing about her. It was definitely a forbidden attraction – I kept telling myself not to go there, but I couldn’t help but think about her.”

Woody took a chance and sang a song he’d written for his wife, hoping she felt the same way about him.

He told me he played her a song, and after it finished, she confessed she’d been in love with him for two and a half years.
