With no build-up or marketing, World’s End Club is available to play on PS5 today.
Previously Apple Arcade-exclusive game was rumored to be coming to Sony’s platform following an unexpected appearance on its PlayStation Store page towards the end of last month. However, just two weeks later, the game is now available for purchase at a price of £19.99 or $24.99.
This intriguing puzzle-adventure game was initially developed under the guidance of Kazutaka Kodaka, the mastermind behind Danganronpa, and it was one of Too Kyo Games’ early creations. Since then, this studio has produced Master Detective Archives: Rain Code and The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy.
Here’s the blurb:
As a gamer in Tokyo, I’m part of an unusual gang called the Go-Getters Club, composed of eccentric kids from across Japan. Normally, we stand out like a sore thumb among our peers. One sweltering summer day, on a school trip, disaster strikes when our bus crashes. When we regain consciousness, we find ourselves in an underwater theme park that seems to have been abandoned for ages. Strangely, we’re trapped inside this bizarre place. Out of nowhere, a creepy clown materializes and commands us to play a Game of Destiny! Before any of us can make sense of it, we’re battling for our lives. Can we overcome the odds and escape from this surreal world?
