Sony has updated the PlayStation Store, now letting you write and share complete reviews.
So, they finally rolled out that new feature! I’ve been following the tests for a while now, and it’s awesome to see it’s finally live – but right now, you can only get it through the website. Hopefully it comes to the app soon, but for now, I’m happy to be able to use it!
You can already add a detailed, 4,000-word review alongside your rating.
This feature lets you add a title and detailed review, just like on Steam. You can also flag your review if it contains spoilers.
When visitors browse a game’s page, they’ll be able to see your rating, the game edition you purchased, and your written review. Currently, only players who own the game digitally can leave reviews.
It will be interesting to see if these reviews also appear on the game console’s store. User reviews on Steam are a valuable tool, and can really help you decide if a game is right for you.
