As a passionate player of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, I found myself immersed in the game shortly after experiencing my initial demise. An intriguing mechanic called the Madness system was introduced then, which escalates with each subsequent death. This escalation leads to increased vulnerability, as you take more damage, but also empowers you, enabling you to dish out more damage when your Madness level peaks. Certain skills can only be activated once your Madness reaches a specific threshold. Two crucial items in this system are the Divine Gift and Fragment of the Divine Gift. This guide aims to help fellow players understand how to acquire these items and where they come into play within Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
How to Get the Divine Gift and Fragment of the Divine Gift in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
In the mystical sanctuary of Shu, a sacred item called the “Divine Gift” can be obtained. As you approach this sanctum, a statue of the God of Shu stands tall, inviting you to “Offer Respects to the Statue of Shu’s Deity“. Continually interacting with the statue without the correct action will only repeat the prompt until you perform the appropriate “Worship Gesture“. Upon performing this gesture, you’ll be bestowed your first Divine Gift. Once inside Shu Sanctum, make your way upstairs and engage in a conversation with Qiao Ying, who stands beside the golden statue. Following this dialogue, another Divine Gift will be given to you, an item that can be utilized at any stage of the game.
Regarding the “Fragment of the Divine Gift”, farming this item can be made simpler through the use of the Invoke feature, accessible at any Shrine. The aim is to increase your Madness level as much as possible, which usually occurs by dying numerous times. However, the Invoke feature allows for this while also providing extra items, some of these being quite beneficial. Once your Madness is at its maximum, make sure to die close to a Shrine so that upon resurrection, an enemy Humanoid will appear and attack you. You need to defeat this enemy, as it has the potential to drop the “Fragment of the Divine Gift”.
As a gamer, I found out that the Humanoid character sometimes drops “Feathered Sticks,” so I kept using the same technique until I had amassed sufficient quantities of both these items.
It’s worth mentioning that Tao Qing, within Shu Sanctum, offers five individual pieces of the Divine Gift priced at 500 Red Mercury apiece. On the other hand, Wu Gang sells these fragments for a higher price of 5,000 Red Mercury each.
Using Divine Gift and Fragment of the Divine Gift in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Upon obtaining the Divine Gift or its shard, your task is to locate any golden statues available. These statues might allow you to deposit the Divine Gift or its fragment. The idea behind this action is to help lessen your level of Madness, which can be beneficial if you prefer not to engage with the Humanoid adversary. Given that the excessive damage taken at maximum Madness level may pose a challenge for some players, having the ability to completely eradicate the Madness is advantageous.
Players can discover the Trinity Bell, a valuable item that provides the same advantages as Divine Gifts. However, it is advisable to keep it on hand since one of the characters within Shu Sanctum requests this specific artifact.
