WWE 2K25 gets the WrestleMania 41 arena and its second DLC — but where’s the missing celebrity from the first one?

2K has just unveiled the second DLC pack for WWE 2K25 today, and it’s likely to elicit varied reactions. The inclusion of the colossal character, Abyss, is exciting, but it’s intriguing that three out of the new characters aren’t actual wrestlers.

As a researcher, I find it intriguing that the latest DLC has been released, yet there’s been no update regarding the final, elusive ‘celebrity’ character from the previous DLC. The fact that this character remains unavailable despite being paid for by fans is perplexing. Thus, while the first DLC remains incomplete, we now have a second one to explore.

This fresh collection is titled “Dunk and Devastation” and includes five innovative characters. It’s an unusual blend, a strange fusion of two legendary figures from the annals of WWE history, along with three basketball superstars – just for variety’s sake.

Included are Abyss, The Great Khali, Shaquille O’Neal, Tyrese Halburton, and Jalen Brunson.

Certainly, Shaquille O’Neal is quite formidable. He matches well with the two WWE superstars in terms of their massive physique and impressive strength.

Furthermore, considering the NBA motif, it seems we’re allowed to employ a basketball as a sort of tool to… perhaps interact with opponents in a playful manner? Notably, Abyss’ distinctive weapon, Janice, has been included as well.

With the release of patch 1.16, you’ll now find an additional DLC in your game. This update not only brings several improvements but also introduces two fresh battlegrounds. The first of these is the eagerly anticipated Wrestlemania 41 arena, which has been meticulously designed to replicate this year’s event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

That applies only to those who have purchased the Bloodline Edition; however, it is also possible to acquire the WrestleMania 41 pack separately for a price of $9.99.

However, don’t worry, there’s something extra for you too! In perfect timing for the Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 2K has included the Crown Jewel arena from the 2024 event in Riyadh as a bonus feature.

Gamers using consoles will find some fresh items to get from The Island, such as a robot named Cody Rhodes, Firefly Funhouse Alexa Bliss (expected to arrive soon), various cosmetics, and other goodies. In addition, there are now 11 new quests included in chapter 3.

You can purchase the Dunk and Destruction pack separately for $9.99, or you have the option to get it included in the Season Pass or Ringside Pass.

However, a lingering sense of discontent persists as the initial DLC remains unfinished, leaving those who purchased it without updates about its progress. Earlier data-mining efforts hinted at the introduction of three basketball players in DLC 2, alongside Travis Scott and KSI.

To put it simply, I’m indifferent to choosing between the two characters they’ve offered, and I suspect others feel the same. However, this situation has caused some controversy because 2K has accepted payment for a game that’s not fully complete, and since then, they haven’t provided any updates.

Hasn’t Travis Scott caused enough issues in WWE this year?
