WWE 2K25 is Making Dreams Come True with DLC Teases of Penta, Stephanie Vaquer, and More

2K’s team has unveiled an awe-inspiring lineup for WWE 2K25, boasting approximately 300 superstars and Legends. However, they’re now tantalizing us with potential dream-scenario additions to the roster through upcoming DLC. 2K has dropped two teaser videos for WWE 2K25’s DLC, and even though we had high expectations for certain names, the fact that so many are included is thrilling. Names like Penta and Stephanie Vaquer are among those being hinted at, and this is just the beginning. You can watch the teaser videos below.

We’re going to examine a few stars who appear to be definite inclusions. One of the most surprising potential additions is Penta, given that he just joined WWE in January. However, fans have noticed his symbol appearing throughout the video, suggesting that he might make it into the final DLC release somehow.

Initially, the video doesn’t show the first hint, but it subtly suggests New Jack as one of the DLC characters through a chain-link fence, a bandanna, and an ECW emblem. The setting then shifts to the NXT arena where you can spot the Penta logo in the foreground. Another significant detail is the J symbol in the center of the ring, which represents Jordynne Grace, WWE’s latest addition.

The upcoming image features a scene of a Prime bottle alongside an image submerged in water, which happens to be a picture of NXT Superstar Zaria. It’s exciting to see her included! However, the presence of the Prime bottle leaves us guessing, since Logan Paul is already part of the game. Some speculate that this could be a hint towards IShowSpeed, KSI, or Jake Paul, so let’s stay tuned for more details.

As I gaze upon these trailers, it’s clear they’re painting a vivid picture for me as a gamer. One scene unfolds with a breathtaking road blanketed by delicate pink blossoms – a sight that echoes the grace and strength of NXT Women’s Champion Giulia. Another snapshot hints at the Motor City Machine Guns, piquing my curiosity. The third image is more cryptic but feels familiar, resembling the side of a building and a silhouette strikingly similar to none other than NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

If all these points prove accurate, it sets up quite an impressive wish list already. Gathering Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Jordynne Grace, Penta, Zaria, Motor City Machine Guns, and New Jack in one place makes for a stellar lineup of stars. Whoever is chosen to represent the Prime bottle will undoubtedly spark conversation, though whether it’s positive or negative remains to be seen, taking last year’s DLC release as an indication.

It wasn’t expected that we would see characters like Penta and Grace in the game until 2026, but it’s amazing how they’ve already been included! However, one more recent addition that hasn’t been hinted at yet is Ricky Saints (formerly of AEW as Ricky Starks). Given his recent signing, I would have thought it was too soon, but if we managed to get Penta in the game, who knows what else might be possible.

Additionally, does anyone eagerly anticipate the possibility of IShowSpeed joining the event, so we could potentially reenact the iconic Bron Breakker Spear moment from the Royal Rumble? Frankly, it was quite a spectacular sight.
