The highly anticipated WWE 2K26 is officially releasing on March 13th. You’ll be able to play it on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and the new Nintendo Switch 2. And the cover star? None other than current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk! This is the second time CM Punk has appeared on a WWE game cover, following his appearance on WWE 2K13.
As expected, the new 2K Showcase, titled “Punked,” highlights the biggest matches of his career. He’ll also participate in Fantasy Warfare, battling iconic WWE Legends – a great chance to finally see him go head-to-head with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
Beyond the popular Punk character, the game features over 400 wrestlers you can play, including fresh faces like Blake Monroe and Ray Fenix. You’ll also find a variety of new match types, such as Three Stages of Hell, Inferno, I Quit, and even Dumpster matches. The gameplay has been updated with a reworked reversal system, improved stamina, and even more weapons to utilize.
Besides the standard version, which costs $69.99, there are three special editions available that each include seven days of early access. These are the King of Kings Edition ($99.99), the Attitude Era Edition ($129.99), and the Monday Night War Edition ($149.99). The Monday Night War Edition is particularly interesting, as it also unlocks the Wrestlemania 42 arena and other bonus content.
