WWE Champion Dethroned After Injury Leads To Brutal Beatdown At Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event featured several championship matches. Historically, titles don’t change hands often at these events, but tonight felt unpredictable. And it lived up to that feeling – a new WWE Champion was crowned, and they decisively defeated a popular wrestler.

Wow, what a night! After Cody held onto his title in an amazing match, it was Tiffany Stratton’s turn, and she had a tough challenge against Jade Cargill for the Women’s Championship. It didn’t take long for Jade to dominate – she took Tiffany down with a powerful slam right away, and unfortunately, Tiffany immediately hurt her knee. Jade kept going after it, relentlessly attacking that knee with some really hard kicks and slams. Tiffany kicked out of a pin attempt, but you could tell her knee was badly injured, and she was clearly struggling to stay in the match.

Cargill rushed towards Stratton, but collided with the turnbuckle. This gave Stratton an opening, but she struggled to climb to the top rope because of her knee injury. Cargill used this to her advantage, grabbing Stratton by the hair and pulling her against the ropes. Cargill then lifted Stratton and forcefully drove her face into the ring apron, knocking the Champion to the floor. Stratton barely managed to get back on her feet before the referee finished counting.

Okay, so Cargill really went after Stratton, throwing her into the steel steps. Then Cargill tried to keep the pressure on, but Stratton actually reversed it and sent her into the steps! It looked like Stratton was building some momentum, climbing to the top rope, but she was moving a little slow, which gave Cargill just enough time to recover. Cargill ended up getting launched with a Swanton Bomb, but she surprisingly kicked out! What a match!

Cargill attacked Stratton with a series of powerful moves, including multiple slams and Powerbombs, but Stratton kept fighting back. After a brutal exchange, Cargill finally delivered her finishing move, Jaded, securing the win and becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion.

This match was easily Cargill’s most impressive performance in WWE so far, and a particularly brutal one for Stratton. Stratton was clearly limited by a knee injury, and once Cargill gained the upper hand, he couldn’t recover.

Now that Cargill has won her first championship in WWE, she’ll face a line of competitors eager to challenge her. This sets the stage for a potentially incredible rivalry with Bianca Belair, who, when she returns from being out of action, will be a top contender for the title.
