Monday Night Raw was a wild ride! The show began with a huge high as John Cena won the championship, making him a Grand Slam Champion. While the night continued with several exciting moments, WWE saved the biggest surprises for last, and the ending is likely to spark debate among fans. Just before a major returning star appeared, two popular champions lost their titles, which will probably leave viewers with mixed feelings about the overall episode.
Tonight’s Raw featured a highly anticipated match between Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair and the Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane. After weeks of clashes, Asuka and Kairi defeated Bliss and Flair – with a little help and some underhanded tactics – to become the new champions.

Okay, things were looking rough for a minute there, but WWE saved the best for last! It started with Asuka, Kairi, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend attacking Charlotte and Alexa, and then Iyo Sky ran out to try and even things up – she almost did! She was outnumbered, but just when it seemed like things were really bad, Rhea Ripley finally came back! Seeing her rush the ring and take out everyone was amazing – it was a perfect way to end the show.

After a chaotic scramble, everyone finally managed to take Jax down and out of the ring. Ripley then revealed that this led to a WarGames match, meaning these eight competitors will face off again at Survivor Series later this month.
Regarding the change in champions, while fans are happy to see Asuka and Kairi win the titles, it’s disappointing that it means the end of the exciting partnership between Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Bliss and Flair’s journey from rivals to friends really resonated with fans, and they brought a level of importance to the championships. They were regularly featured on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, and many viewers were hoping to see them hold the titles for a significant period before eventually losing them.
Things didn’t work out as planned, but Asuka and Kairi will have another opportunity to compete for the championships. They’re both incredibly talented and will likely deliver a great performance. Even without the titles, their storyline has been compelling – fans are already anticipating a future rivalry between the two. So, it seems strange to make such a significant change when things were already going well.
It’s good we’ll all be able to see everyone together again at WarGames. Hopefully, the change in the championship title doesn’t mean Alexa and Charlotte will stop teaming up, as they’re a great pair and it would be disappointing if they did.
