Starting from 2025, SummerSlam will transform into a two-day spectacle, taking place over the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. This follows the record-breaking success of the 2024 SummerSlam, which saw the largest gate outside of WrestleMania in WWE history.
Peter Dropick, TKO’s Executive Vice President of Event Development and Operations, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and the NJSEA team, who have previously hosted significant UFC events, including the record-breaking UFC 302 in June. He looks forward to making a grand return of WWE to New Jersey with the inaugural two-day SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium.
