This weekend, from Thursday, January 29th to Sunday, February 1st, Xbox is offering Free Play Days. You can try out four games at no cost: Fallout 76, For Honor, Dead by Daylight, and Grounded 2. What’s more, two of these games will be available to play for even longer as part of the promotion.
This weekend’s Xbox Free Play Days won’t require a Game Pass subscription. You can also buy the featured games at a discount, and any Gamerscore or achievements you earn during the event will be saved!
Fallout 76 & More Are Free This Weekend
This weekend, Xbox is offering free play access to several great games, including Fallout 76, For Honor, Dead by Daylight, and Grounded 2. The best part is you don’t need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to participate! It’s a fantastic way to try out these games and see if you want to buy them.
Fallout 76 is an online game set in the world of Fallout, a popular franchise now also available as a TV show on Amazon Prime Video. A recent update to Fallout 76, called Burning Springs, has added characters and content from the live-action series, including the character Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins.
For Honor is an exciting multiplayer game where players engage in close-combat battles as distinct warriors from different groups. Dead by Daylight is a unique horror game where one player hunts others, and it features characters and settings from popular horror franchises, including a recent addition inspired by the Netflix series, Stranger Things.
Even though it’s only been available in early access for under six months, Grounded 2 is a fantastic survival game you can play alone or with friends. It’s charming and unique, and it currently offers the most engaging and surprisingly appealing approach to handling arachnophobia in video games.
Spend Even More Time With Two Of These
Don’t worry if the weekend isn’t enough time! Both Fallout 76 and For Honor will be available to play until February 5th – that gives you until Thursday to enjoy them. This is great because it means you can play Fallout 76 right up to the end of Fallout‘s Season 2.
This weekend, players might want to focus on Dead by Daylight and Grounded 2 first, as they won’t be available for very long. However, any of the four games – Fallout 76, For Honor, Dead by Daylight, and Grounded 2 – could easily keep players busy for the entire time. All four offer tons of content and engaging multiplayer or co-op gameplay on Xbox.
