Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to Hisense Smart TVs in 2026 — for gamers who can’t afford an Xbox console after the price hikes?

Microsoft revealed on January 5, 2026, that it’s working with Hisense to launch the Xbox App on Hisense Smart TVs running V homeOS later in 2026.

Now, gamers with a Hisense TV and an Xbox Game Pass subscription—no matter which plan they have—can play hundreds of Xbox games directly on their TV using Xbox Cloud Gaming.

You’ll be able to stream games like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Arc Raiders, Fallout 4, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and many more.

Microsoft will be sharing more information soon about how the Xbox app will work on Hisense TVs. Keep an eye on Xbox Wire and Microsoft’s social media for the latest updates.

Xbox gaming is becoming more expensive with recent price increases for Game Pass, higher console costs because of memory chip shortages, and pricey new games. As a result, many players are searching for affordable ways to play the Xbox games they love.

By 2026, Xbox Cloud Gaming is quickly becoming one of the most budget-friendly ways to play, regardless of personal preference.

You don’t need an Xbox console to play with Xbox Cloud Gaming. It works on phones, laptops, Smart TVs, PCs, and any other device that can connect to the internet and use a web browser.

With Xbox apps now available on Hisense TVs, more people will have an affordable way to play Xbox games, even if they don’t own an Xbox Series X or S console.

The quality of games you can stream with Xbox Cloud Gaming depends on your Xbox Game Pass plan. Those with Essential or Premium subscriptions can stream in 720p or 1080p, while Ultimate subscribers can stream at a higher resolution of 1440p.

Will teaming up with Hisense encourage more people to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and explore Xbox’s extensive cloud gaming services? Only time will tell.
