A highly-rated RPG is now available on Xbox Game Pass for players on PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, regardless of whether they have an Ultimate, Premium, or standard PC subscription. This game is considered one of the best RPGs ever made, boasting a Metacritic score of 91 and winning four awards at The Game Awards 2019, including Best Role-Playing Game and Best Narrative.
For a limited time, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC subscribers on current-generation Xbox consoles and PCs can play the RPG Disco Elysium. Players new to the game through Game Pass can expect to spend around 20-25 hours on the main story, with an additional 10 hours for optional side content. Those aiming to complete everything will likely need around 50 hours.
91-Rated RPG
This isn’t the original game released in 2019; it’s The Final Cut version, which came out in 2021. The biggest changes are significant new content and complete voice acting for all characters – something the original game didn’t have.
Sometimes, highly-rated games don’t become popular with players, but Disco Elysium is different. It has very positive reviews from both critics and players. While it has an 88% approval rating on Steam, it’s almost perfect on the Xbox Store. Critics and players generally agree on how good the game is, with only a small difference in their opinions.
With Disco Elysium – The Final Cut now on Xbox Game Pass, subscribers don’t need to buy the $40 game separately. They also have the option to purchase it with a 20% discount, a perk available for as long as the game is on the service.
If this new role-playing game doesn’t appeal to you, don’t worry – it’s not the only recent addition to Xbox Game Pass. Another fantastic RPG with over 100 hours of gameplay was added just last week, and next week will bring Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
