Xbox Game Pass will be getting five new games on the day of their release in April 2026. However, the first half of the month will be quiet, with all the new releases coming later in April. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will have to wait a bit, but they can look forward to a brand new game from Xbox Game Studios, an upgraded version for Xbox Series X of a highly-rated 2026 title, and a game that’s been eagerly anticipated as an Xbox exclusive.
Replaced
Replaced is a visually stunning platformer game coming to Xbox Series X. Developed by Sad Cat Studios and published by Thunderful Games and Coatsink, it’s been highly anticipated and launches on April 14th. This release marks the first game from the Belarus-based studio.
Hades 2
Released in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC, Hades 2 quickly became the year’s top-rated game. Created by the award-winning independent studio Supergiant Games, it will be available on Xbox Series X starting April 14th.
Aphelion
Aphelion is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game with stealth gameplay, created by Don’t Nod, the developers of the popular Life is Strange series. It’s scheduled to launch on April 28th.
Kiln
Kiln is a new multiplayer party game developed by Double Fine Productions, a studio owned by Xbox. It will be released on April 23rd, and players can try it out early in an open beta on PC from April 9th to April 11th.
Vampire Crawlers
I’m so excited for Vampire Crawlers, the new game from the creators of Vampire Survivors! It’s a deckbuilding roguelite spin-off, and it’s coming out on April 21st. I can’t wait to try it!
Okay, so all these games are hitting Xbox Series X and PC, which is awesome! There’s just one exception: Hades II is already available on PC, so it’s only coming to Series X. And unfortunately, none of these are heading to the older Xbox One. That means if you’re still on Xbox One and subscribe to Game Pass, you won’t get these new titles on day one in April.
