Xbox Game Pass has added a bunch of classic games! A recent update to the Retro Classics app brings the total number of retro titles – including games from SNES, Atari 2600, MS-DOS, Amiga, Sega 32X, Sega CD, and even PlayStation 1 – to almost 100.
The Xbox Retro Classics library is a separate app you can download from the Microsoft Store, but you need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to get it. The good news is, you don’t need a specific tier of Game Pass – all subscribers have access. However, these classic games can only be played through cloud streaming.

This is the last update to the Retro Classics library for this year. However, you can expect more games in 2026, as Microsoft has said they plan to add over 100 titles in total.
