This impressive feat, achieved just seven months after its launch in April, has made it the top-selling new release of 2025 for this console, according to Alinea Analytics. Incredibly, it’s even outsold Monster Hunter Wilds, which had a staggering 2.9 million sales! Now that’s some racing action worth celebrating!
According to Alinea Analytics, sales from the PlayStation Store recently contributed to Forza Horizon 5 reaching this significant milestone, as the game was offered at a 25% discount during this period. The game can currently be purchased on sale through the PlayStation Store’s summer sale, which lasts until July 30th.
Based on projections by Alinea Analytics, these are currently the projected top five best-sellers among newly released PlayStation 5 games for the year 2025, as of 21st July.
