A game originally released for Xbox Series X in 2021 is currently available to download for free from the Microsoft Store. You have about 28 days to claim it – after February 20th, it will return to its regular price. The good news is this free offer isn’t just for Xbox Series X and S owners; it also includes those with an Xbox One. Free games on the Microsoft Store are uncommon, so this is a great opportunity!
A game called ATOLL: The Game is now available for free on Xbox Series X. Originally released in 2021 by Tribunal Interactive, it didn’t gain much attention at the time. In fact, it only recently started getting reviews – two on the Microsoft Store, both giving it a perfect 5/5 score, after becoming free. On Steam, it has three reviews total: two positive and one negative.
User Reviews for Free Xbox Game
One player wrote, “I was hooked just minutes into the game and I’m eager to see how it goes.” However, another player said they’ve played many similar early-access games that are much more polished.

If you have an Xbox One or Xbox Series X and enjoy exploration and survival games, you might like this new title. It’s a roughly two-hour, first-person experience where you play as a scientist trying to survive after a massive meteor wipes out most of Earth’s population.
A Rare Game
It’s difficult to say how good this game is because there aren’t any reviews or scores available. It appears to be a small, independently made game with a limited budget, and that’s about all we know for sure. Luckily, it’s free to play, so you can easily try it out and see if you enjoy it. In fact, it’s unusual for a game to be offered for free on the Microsoft Store – it hasn’t happened in quite a while, which makes this release interesting even if the game itself isn’t a masterpiece.
