There’s always a little burst of joy when you get an Achievement on Xbox or a Trophy on PlayStation, and it’s a feeling that doesn’t fade, no matter how long you’ve been gaming.
Xbox is embracing change with a new update for its Insider program. This update revamps how Achievements are displayed on consoles, giving them a fresh look with special animations for rare accomplishments and the option to customize the colors. Users will also have more control over how their Achievements are presented.
I’ve noticed I can now hide games I’m not currently playing, which is awesome! And even better, if I get all the Achievements in a game, it gets a little highlight – it’s a nice touch. Honestly, I’m not sure why this wasn’t an option before, but hey, I’m glad it’s here now!
Besides a few small adjustments, the update is now becoming available to Xbox players everywhere. While there’s no set timeline, we expect this is a step towards improving the console experience in the future. You can find the full announcement here.
