◆ Upgrading Abilities
Miyazato Dojo
At Miyazato Dojo, Kiryu can train under Miya-san, starting with the basics of the Ryukyu Style.
As he gets better, he’ll be able to try for a promotion, and Miya-san has promised to teach him the special techniques of the Miyazato style if he passes.
Train hard, overcome tests, and become a full-fledged master of Ryukyu kobujutsu!

Miya-san (portrayed by Michitaka Kikuchi)
Ryukyu Kobujutsu Master/Chura Bar Owner

Nobody on this island holds a candle to me when it comes to teaching kobujutsu.
The owner of Chura Bar, a folk song izakaya in Downtown Ryukyu.
Miya-san is a highly skilled martial artist specializing in Ryukyu kobujutsu, a traditional Okinawan fighting style, and he teaches at Miyazato Dojo. Although he keeps to himself, he’s a formidable fighter, and Kiryu has a lot to gain from training with him.
Despite having very few students at his dojo, Chura now mostly relies on his bar to make a living.

◆ Bad Boy Dragon
Assemble a Motley Crew of Delinquents and Rule the Streets!

Join the small-time Haisai Girls gang and protect Okinawa.
As the Tokyo Night Terrors cause chaos throughout the city, Kiryu takes charge as the new leader of his gang. He needs to build a team and transform the Haisai Girls into the most powerful girl gang in all of Japan.
Team up with five friends in Baddies Battles, equip twenty of your crew for big Rumbles, and complete a variety of other exciting challenges.
Ride your motorcycle into battle and attack the enemy base in exciting, action-packed fights.
I’m really getting into building up my team! It’s awesome being able to equip them with better weapons and customize their uniforms and bikes. My goal is to create the strongest squad possible and keep the peace in Okinawa – it’s so much fun!

Dawg Boi (portrayed by Dogma Kazami)
Delinquent Stuck in the 80s

I’m the baddest of the bad, Dawg Boiii!
He’s the head of the Bullet Boyz, a major gang in Okinawa, and a big fan of 1980s rebel style. Despite being over forty, he still lives that lifestyle.
He thinks being strong means being in charge, so he often acts impulsively. The Haisai Girls try to recruit him, but they may have a hard time getting him on board.

Tsubasa (portrayed by Anna Yamaki)
Boss of the Haisai Girls

They can come after us if they want. We’ll send ’em packin’.
The Haisai Girls aren’t runnin’ or hidin’ from anyone.
She’s the young leader of the Haisai Girls, and a dedicated biker who surprisingly always obeys traffic laws. Though spirited and sometimes impulsive, she’s earned the loyalty of her crew and is committed to keeping Okinawa safe from troublemakers.
After a chance turn of events, she decides to recruit Kiryu to the Haisai Girls.

Rumbles
—Turf War

—Total Annihilation

Okay, so Rumbles are seriously epic! You team up with as many as 20 friends and it’s basically a huge battle against over 100 enemies. There are two main ways to play: Total Annihilation is just a massive, chaotic free-for-all between both sides. Or, you can do Turf War, where your squad and the enemy take different paths to try and destroy each other’s bases. It’s a blast!
Recruiting Allies
You can recruit new members for the Haisai Girls by exploring the city, completing side stories, and playing minigames.
Familiar faces from past games, including Gondawara, the man-baby patriarch, can be recruited.
Every teammate has unique skills, letting you create powerful combinations and win fights.

Managing Your Squad
In Bad Boy Dragon, you can lead up to four teams into combat, all working to protect Tsubasa, the leader of the Haisai Girls. Each team has a leader and four members, and if the leader falls, the whole team will retreat.
Factor in each member’s unique traits as you put together your ultimate team!

Baddies Battle
The Tokyo Night Terrors are wreaking havoc in Downtown Ryukyu in Baddies Battles! Team up with the Haisai Girls to save the people and bring peace back to the city!
As a player, I’ve found that if you rescue women during the Tokyo Night Terrors events, they might actually decide to help you out and join your team! If you’re hoping to build up a strong crew, definitely focus on completing a lot of Baddie Battles – that’s where you’ll find them.

Baddies Shop
At the Baddies Shop, you can purchase items that’ll give you the edge in combat.
Upgrading your bikes and uniforms will give your gang a fresh new look and unlock a host of skills.
You can also use your money to buy powerful weapons, including rocket launchers and supercars capable of breaking through enemy defenses.

Customization
You can fully customize each of your four squads, including their outfits and bikes. Beyond picking colors and designs for their uniforms, you can also add a unique motto to the back of each squad’s clothing.

◆ Substories
Experience Wild Substories Starring the Colorful Characters Around Town!

Outside of the main story, you can interact with people around town and engage in mini-adventures.
Lending a helping hand to folks in need will also help you grow stronger.
Whether you’re hosting lively parties in Kamurocho or delivering delicious Okinawa soba throughout Ryukyu, tons of exciting things are waiting for you. You could even meet a famous singer along the way!
Leave It to Akko!
Popular actress Akko and her co-star Demata are in Okinawa filming scenes for Akko’s travel show, “Akko Please! Leisure Travel.”
She went to Downtown Ryukyu, eager to discover local favorites and famous landmarks, and planned to ask people for suggestions. While there, she noticed Kiryu, who appeared to be available for a conversation.

Akko-san (portrayed by Akiko Wada)
One of the Biggest Names in Japanese Show Biz!

Listen to me, I know what I’m talkin’ about! We can get some good footage with him.
A hugely famous celebrity encounters Kiryu while filming in Downtown Ryukyu and quickly becomes attracted to him.
She starts asking him to go out with her, suggesting drinks and other activities. Surprisingly, she’s also a very talented fighter, which makes you wonder if she’s hiding something about her past.

■ Dark Ties
◆ Underground Fight Club

Survive a Brutal Game Using Brains and Brawn!
I recently discovered this crazy place in Kamurocho called Hell’s Arena. It’s basically a secret fight club where seriously wealthy people bet huge amounts of money on unbelievably brutal fights. It’s wild!
Every day at Hell’s Arena, you can witness brutal brawls that test fighters to their limits, and perilous races called Survival Hells, where competitors are constantly pursued by hunters.
Because Hell’s Arena is hurting the Nishikiyama Family’s business, Mine plans to infiltrate the arena and dismantle it from within.
To win, he must overcome incredibly dangerous challenges and defeat powerful enemies.

Hellish Brawl
Hellish Brawls are traditional one-on-one fights held in the arena.
To claim victory, you must knock out your opponent within the time limit.
You’ll sometimes face opponents back-to-back, so it’s important to carefully manage your health and time to win. Do your best and earn a lot of money!

Survival Hell
Survival Hell challenges you to run through a dangerous dungeon, avoid being caught by hunters, and beat a tough boss to win.
The dungeon is full of hidden treasures that will help Mine become stronger if you can escape with them. These treasures come in three main types: Gospels, which improve his skills; Survival Weapons, which act as powerful attacks; and Mercenaries, who are allies you can hire to assist in battle.
By using the items you find and continuing to fight, you might be able to overcome the incredible challenge of surviving in Survival Hell!

Mercenaries

Survival Weapons

Gospels

Boss Battles
At the end of every Survival Hell dungeon lies a master keeper.
The seven hunters are the most powerful fighters in Hell’s Arena. Each wears a different animal mask and fights using skills based on that animal. For example, the hunter with the monkey mask creates copies of themself to defeat opponents.
Unleash everything at your disposal to best these behemoths!

The game Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be released on February 12, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (through Steam).
