SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have shared a new six-minute trailer showcasing gameplay from Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.

Originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2009, Yakuza 3 has been completely updated with stunning new graphics and modern technology. This new version brings the island of Okinawa to life with more exciting combat, extra story scenes, and plenty of fun minigames to keep you playing. Kiryu returns to fight, continuing his journey to protect the people he cares about.
The game also features the story of Dark Ties, starring Yoshitaka Mine, a key rival to Kiryu. Players will follow Mine’s path, from his beginnings as a startup founder to his life as a yakuza member. Driven by loss, Mine searches for a meaningful connection to overcome his emptiness.
Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine lead very different lives, but their stories will cross paths, and the outcome for both of them hangs in the balance.
The games Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties will be released on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (through Steam).
