Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is clearly working hard to improve how players view Yakuza 3. A recent trailer highlights the extensive changes and improvements coming in the game’s remake.
The Steam version of Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties offers several improvements, making it the best way to play through Kazuma Kiryu’s story. These include features like Steam Trading Cards, enhanced graphics with Frame Generation support, unlimited frame rates, and compatibility with Ultrawide Monitors. This updated version promises a fantastic experience for longtime Yakuza fans.
The game’s combat feels much smoother and more natural with these updates, a significant improvement over the original and its remastered version. You’ll also enjoy revamped cutscenes and fresh fighting styles, giving you plenty of new options to defeat your opponents. Plus, there’s a new story called Dark Ties and the opportunity to play as Yoshitaka Mine in a prequel that explores his backstory.
The remake is almost here, launching in less than ten days! It looks like it could be a fantastic return for the series, potentially becoming one of the best installments yet. You’ll be able to play it on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 – find more information here.
