SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are bringing *Yakuza Kiwami* and *Yakuza Kiwami 2* to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on December 8th. These releases follow the Switch 2 versions, which are coming out on November 13th. PC players will also get an update on December 9th that adds support for more languages.
Here is an overview of each game, via SEGA:
Yakuza Kiwami is a complete remake of the original game that started the Yakuza series almost 20 years ago. You play as Kazuma Kiryu, an ex-yakuza, as he gets caught up in a massive 10-billion-yen conspiracy in Tokyo’s entertainment district. Using his fighting skills and strong will, Kiryu will rise to become a legend.
In *Yakuza Kiwami 2*, Kazuma Kiryu, known as the “Dragon of Dojima,” returns to battle Ryuji Goda, the “Dragon of Kansai,” in an epic showdown between competing Yakuza families. It’s the continuation of the story started in *Yakuza Kiwami*.
Both games now include support for multiple languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian.
You can play *Yakuza: Kiwami* on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s also available on PlayStation 3 in Japan. *Yakuza: Kiwami 2* is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
