Sky has just dropped the first trailer and some sneak peek photos for Under Salt Marsh, a chilling new crime drama filmed in Wales and featuring Kelly Reilly, known for her role in Yellowstone.
The Sky Original series centers on Jackie Ellis (Reilly), a former detective who now teaches. She left the police force after a difficult case destroyed both her career and personal life.
When a fierce storm strikes the seaside town of Morfa Halen, Jackie uncovers a secret that makes her face a dark event from the town’s history – a terrible crime someone tried to hide.
Rafe Spall (known for his roles in “Trying” and “Life of Pi”) plays Jackie’s ex-partner, Detective Eric Bull. They’re forced to work together again when the investigation is reopened, bringing up painful memories and hidden truths just as a major storm threatens to destroy any remaining evidence.

Claire Oakley wrote, directed, and created this six-part drama, which blends mystery with deep emotional themes. It delves into how grief, guilt, and hidden secrets can impact a small community.
The show’s cast includes Jonathan Pryce, known for “The Crown,” Naomi Yang from “Chimerica,” Dinita Gohil of “Treason,” Brian Gleeson (“Bad Sisters”), Kimberley Nixon (“Queenie”), and Harry Lawtey (“Industry”). Mark Stanley, Dino Fetscher, Lizzie Annis, Rhodri Meilir, and Julian Lewis Jones also join the talented group.
Most viewers recognize Reilly for her popular role as Beth Dutton on the Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, where she acted alongside Kevin Costner. She’s known for playing a character who is both witty and deeply devoted to her family.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are likely to return as Beth and Rip Wheeler in a new series, currently known as The Dutton Ranch.
