A notable actor has been added to the cast of the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off, “The Madison,” as we get closer to its debut.
In a nutshell, “The Madison” delves into the life of the McIntosh family, who have relocated from New York City to the picturesque Madison River Valley in Montana.
In 2023, the series received approval for production and features an illustrious ensemble cast, with Michelle Pfeiffer as the main character.
Now, as reported by Deadline, the latest addition to The Madison is film and TV star Kurt Russell.
Russell, widely recognized for his roles in films like Escape from New York, The Thing, as well as Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, has recently been added to the cast, having just finished portraying Lee Shaw in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Although Russell is confirmed as part of The Madison’s cast, his role is yet to be determined.

Similar to other shows set within the Yellowstone universe, The Madison was developed and penned by its original creator, Taylor Sheridan.
The television show is being overseen in a top management role by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson (both), Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Pfeiffer, Russell, and Keith Cox.
In simpler terms, all the individuals listed above are in charge of managing the production aspects of this series.
1923, the series, is being developed jointly by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. The production commenced filming in Montana as late as September 2024, which was mere months prior to wrapping up the conclusion of 1923 in February this year.
At the time of writing, there is no confirmed airing date for The Madison.
