According to Publisher PM Studios, the remastered version of Playtonic’s game Yooka-Laylee, titled Yooka-Replaylee, is now fully content-complete and a release date announcement is expected soon. Since there’s a Nintendo Indie World showcase scheduled for August 7th, it’s possible that we might get a glimpse of it then.
At present, our development team is meticulously working on quality assurance (QA), which involves identifying and rectifying bugs, enhancing, and fine-tuning the overall user experience across all platforms. There’s still a fair amount of work left to be done, so even if we were to announce a release date, it might still be a few months away. However, rest assured that Playtonic is committed to offering a substantial amount of content for the launch.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m pumped to share that this year, I’ll get my hands on Yooka-Replaylee! It’s making its way onto Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Expect some stunning visual upgrades, along with exciting new additions like fast travel and extra Tonics. They’ve also given the controls a facelift and unlocked all moves from the get-go. Can’t wait to dive in!
Rextro’s Arcade has undergone a significant transformation! Instead of basic mini-games, you’ll find elaborate platforming levels in which you take direct control over Rextro, each with distinct skills. For further information, follow this link and keep an eye out for future announcements.
Yooka-Replaylee is officially content complete!🥳
