You’re Going to Love Teyana Taylor’s Revealing Golden Globes Fashion

Teyana Taylor is continuing to slay one award show after another.

The 35-year-old actress, nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in One Battle After Another, made a statement with her outfit at the awards show on January 11th. The event, held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser.

Teyana Taylor turned heads at the event in a stunning, custom-made black Schiaparelli gown. The dress featured a dramatic neckline that wrapped around her neck and a daring open front. Teyana is excited about her successful awards season leading up to the 2026 Golden Globes. She shared that Leonardo DiCaprio, a fellow actor, gave her some valuable advice to remember throughout it all.

I’m taking things at my own speed and enjoying the process,” the mother of two – Junie, 9, and Rue, 4, whose father is Iman Shumpert – told TopMob News in December. “I’m not getting bogged down in details or overthinking things, just having fun, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”

She’s also talked about how she sees her character, Perfidia – a woman in a revolutionary group who leaves her husband (Leonardo DiCaprio) and child.

She explained to Variety on January 3rd that while Perfidia makes choices some might disagree with, she’s always authentically herself and firmly committed to her beliefs—things many of us might not have been able to do in the past.

Oh my gosh, Teyana just gets it! As a woman, you’re constantly told to be smaller, to not be ‘too much.’ But seeing her just…own everything? It’s like she’s saying, ‘No, I refuse to be silenced or controlled! I’m not going to play by your rules!’ It’s so empowering, honestly. She’s just incredible.

The singer of “Gonna Love Me,” who recently gained attention for her reaction to the film winning Best Picture at the Critics Choice Awards in 2026, believes director Paul Thomas Anderson has plenty of story left to tell, suggesting she’d be open to a sequel.

Oh my god, can you believe he could have done a ‘Wicked!’? Seriously, she told them he had enough footage to basically split the whole thing in two because there’s so much story there! And get this – she said they could take all the stuff they cut out, stitch it together, film a few new scenes with me – and just release it as a whole separate project, like a surprise mixtape! It’s genius, honestly. He had all this extra material just waiting to be unleashed!
