I stumbled across a couple of interesting fixes people were using when YouTube videos wouldn’t play. Apparently, clicking the ‘Learn More’ link on the error message and then hitting your browser’s back button sometimes got things working again. Some folks also said just repeatedly hitting refresh eventually did the trick – basically, a lot of refreshing until the video finally loaded!

YouTube’s “This content isn’t available, try again later” error appears to be a deliberate change, not just a temporary problem. Ad blockers will need to be updated with improved filters once developers understand how YouTube has changed its requests.
